I believe the chest was initially reported to be in a location marked with the DBT logo. I'm not discounting something to do with Paypal or Friendster or whatever, I'm just jumping in with a reminder that the chest is reportedly in a location that is clearly marked as specific to this hunt with the DBT logo. Find the logo, find the chest.

Thanks for the history lesson that Paypal was once X.com. That's very interesting and ties in nicely with our hunt. The issue I have with PayPAL or any other sort of online payment system as the chest is that many financial websites now have 2 factor authentication, for security purposes. Meaning even if we had the user name and password, since we'd be logging in from an unknown device, we'd also need to have Lukas' phone to complete the transaction.

That could be one of the feedback mechanism to let him know that someone has found and opened the chest.

I've been trying different paypal.me accounts. You can add any string to the end of the url to check if it's a valid account. There is an option to have a user icon, which could be the DBT logo that you would see, if you were to find the right url string. Also, Lukas already seems to have an account there: www.paypal.me/lukasstanleyI haven't found it yet though.

I saw that the other day, and I almost sent him a penny just to test it out and say hey, I'm on to you lol. Also did you notice PayPal has a service called xoom, where you can send money to anyone in the world.

Lukas makes part of his living as a music teacher, so the account by itself isn't a smoking gun.

I agree to for two good reason.
1. it would fairly easy to guess the account name. paypal.me/lukasstanley wouldn't be hard to guess if you thought a paypal account was involed 2. if that was his real life account so that his students could pay him, he would hardly be happy about giving his account details away so that people could draw money not intended as a prize.
But paypal or some similar payment system is likely to be the easiest way of him hiding and delivering the prize

I wasn’t suggesting that was the chest lol. I just thought it was interesting; it shows that he’s familiar with that platform.
