Wow thats cool..just curious how the hell you discovered that...pretty awesome find...thanks for sharing Many years ago I looked into writing html code so I have always had an interest in that. Thus, I peeked under the hood on the pages that Lukas have put up for this hunt. It looks to me that he is using WordPress as a tool to create his pages. In all pages you will find a shortlink that WordPress creates automatically. It is like TinyURL and looks something like this: <link rel='shortlink' href='https://wp.me/Pb6OM9-l' /> Once you have looked at a few pages like that you will se a pattern. The Pb6OM9- is used often and what comes after changes. So I tried a few random letters/numbers by hand and voila. It took me to the pages I just listed. I know. Super silly. The 11 mile hint, for example, will be found on: wp.me/Pb6OM9-3D

According to tineye.com these are stock images that were edited to go into the website. Good catch, I didn't see them.

So if you can find stock images using this back door system, is there a different back door system you might be able to find created images like the cipher text. I am not tech savvy enough, but you sound like you might be.

So if you can find stock images using this back door system, is there a different back door system you might be able to find created images like the cipher text. I am not tech savvy enough, but you sound like you might be. All I did was to try some of combinations (like A, a, 1A, A1, 1q, q3.. and so on). With luck you might find an image with the cipher or another clue like the 11 mile one. Assuming the format is two characters XX (and since it is case sensitive), there are many combinations yet to explore...

Two of the images you linked to are just on his generic dbt page so no mystery there. The only one I don’t recognize is the ai. Maybe for use on a future hunt? Or maybe just something he considered for his page but changed his mind, I also noticed the 11 mile clue comes up when you search for a matching word like 11 but not when you search for 1 so the Wordpress search logic must match on words, not characters, I tried to use search to find the ciphertext but wasn’t successful.
