And take it in ... Just take the chest ...
Take appears twice = a "double take"! Look at the poem and then look again.
So hear me .. and listen ..
Hear the poem read and then listen again.
Put "in" below the home of Brown: home of Brown in

All the veterans know there is no requirement for WWWH or even a majority of the clues to be in any of the search states. WWWH doesn't even have to be in the U.S. It's just a little easier to keep the clues contiguous if all the clues are in the Rockies. Easier still if they are confined to the four search states, and even easier if all the clues are in just one of the four search states. I'd agree with WWWH, but if the first 2 clues get you to within 500' (if you subscribe to the logic that assumes this) then it's pretty unlikely any of the clues except for WWWH is outside of the search area. Agree that it's unlikely, just not impossible. Counter-example might be the portion of Idaho near Wyoming and Montana: you could have multiple clues in Idaho but ultimately end up in either MT or WY. It definitely SHOULD be scrutinized. Yes, the clues are contiguous, but there is no guarantee that each clue gets you progressively closer (as the crow flies) to the chest, though that is almost certainly the case for the final clue.

The big question is when he mentioned all the lines cross in the right spot Did he mean like the x or the lines in his poem? If the clues are to be followed in order from place to place in a line how do they cross at all? So again there's something funny going on here. It can be the sentences as clues all lining up to a place but crossing wouldn't make sense. So it almost has to be lines that cross and make a x or an * or something.

Thirdeyefirst: Forrest has used that "all the lines cross" idiom multiple times, more than once in reference to things not tied to the Chase. So it may not have a literal connection to the clues.

Yellowstone Yellow = warm stone= grind to a halt I had the same thought yesterday. I was thinking warm is yellow and a stone just sits there motionless until nature or someone moves it. What's waters? Madison river?

If you believe your statement to be true, how do you feel about when Forrest said “everyone deserves an intersection”?
