Ok, I'm glad you aren't upset or offended, I thought you may have been expressing that in your first response. I'm not one of the trolls who is here to cut anyone else's ideas down or threaten violence as I've seen from some on other forums LOL. I'm here to solve puzzles or go crazy trying! The sooner you can post the rest of your proposed solution, the better for my mental health

Okay, I don't want you to lose your mind or anything. I want to make one comment before moving on. It seems that some of the items identified earlier have counterparts once you are in Lake Park. The red lights/red balls would now likely take on the meaning of lawn bowling/croquet. The mill stone now being the Ship mooring/well cover. The walking cane could now be a croquet mallet. I thought the key likely represented street lights by City Hall and will now keep that same identity here at the park. Okay, so we are standing at the end of the culvert path and at the edge of Lincoln Memorial Drive. I think we turn right because the road/sidewalk has a slight westerly direction going south. Also I believe the street lights along the road are the next 3 things you will pass. Take note that if you are on the sidewalk, you are keeping west of the lights as well. Once you pass three lights the wonderstone clue begins. I do not see it as an accident that at this location there just happens to be stonework right in front of you. I believe Preiss intends you to take notice of the stone. I also believe he cleverly directed most folks attention away and toward the proud tall 5th with a letter from the country of wonderstone's hearth. I believe the key in the image reveals that the letter we are looking for is a "Y", the last letter in the country of Germany. Rhyolite (wonderstone was named by the grandfather of The "Red Barron", one of Germany's most famous characters. Anyway the tall tree beside the stonework has a fork that creates the letter "Y". I believe that is your proud tall fifth but I do not think the treasure is at it's foot.
