Hello all I am new to the forum, but have been a long-time twelever. I began work on The Lost Skull around the same day it was found. I wanted to announce this sooner rather than later, in case anyone had a trip planned. On February 29th, I claimed second prize. I completed the photos of the ten locations over the weekend. Apparently I was one of 4 teams who showed up that weekend. Who else was there? Also, I will ask Robert if I can reveal puzzle solutions/locations. Waiting to hear back from him on some other questions regarding the puzzles. And finally, a special thanks to Stercox for aiding me in two of the puzzles. Stercox, check your PM's!

Hi regulus, Congrats! You must have just beat us! Nonetheless, my two boys and I had a fun day of 'treasure hunting'!

In regards to the solution, I think it would be most respectful to let Brewer release it himself, as there are still Champion prizes to be had and prematurely releasing it would spoil the hunt. If he decides to let anyone release the full solution other than himself, maybe it should be the Grand Prize winners, I think we earned it.

If your PM contains the solutions. I'm still on the hunt, so I won't look at it til later. I plan on going to Cleveland this weekend to finish my pics and submit. Great hunt!!

Congratulations regulus! Like pop, I was one of those who were there on Saturday. You just beat us! I did not want to post anything until the author made an official announcement, but I don't know when that will be.
I am curious as to why the author does not announce winners, nor does he respond to emails from people who have sent in solutions. Why would an author of a hunt, allow those who have bought his book, to keep spending time trying to solve it, and possibly spend time and money traveling to the sites when the treasure has already been claimed? That is really not fair to those who have supported him by purchasing his book.
He also has not stated how many "Champion" skulls he will award. So those that are still involved have no idea if they should travel to the ten sites or not.
There is a website for The Lost Skull, but it has not been updated.
