It seems logical to me that a deep thinking treasure searcher could use logic to determine an important clue to the location of the treasure. Is someone doing that now and I don’t know it? It’s not what they say on the blogs that may be significant, it’s what they whisper. f dalneitzel.com/2014/04/23/scrapbook-sixty_one-2/Add to this... MW Coded words “If you are in the right spot, something you probably haven’t thought about, should be obvious to you." Suggestion from Forrest in an Email to Jason Dent on a show topic, “Talk about the one good clue that searchers can think of themselves but haven't.” What do they all have in common? Thinking!

Could this be an inside job? The more I think about it Sunshine sounds too professional. Promoting him once ok, but twice, really?? Is it possible that he was “hired” to redirect us? Just a theory... He does sound like a much more pleasant and thought out version of the narrator voice of Curse of Oak Island. Could very well be true, Fenn does not want it to be easier by giving new hints and leads, but wants to illuminate searchers. Perhaps he wants to maximise the chance that the chase does not dwindle out after his passing. May it yet be a long time, as with the rest of us

MW Q&A (5/27/2014): "Forrest, When creating the hunt, was there any serendipity involved? C" FF: "Searchers have routinely revealed where they think the treasure was hidden and walked me through the process that took them on that course. May it yet be a long time, as with the rest of us Yes, I absolutely believe this is a neutral way to lead us back in the box. I wouldn't be surprised if he was referred to Forrest by Douglas Preston, who is connected in the literary world. All speculation of course.

Hi Zap, are you saying this is all a hunch, speculating that Sunshine could be a contrived way to get us back in the box? What better way to lead us without putting out hints IMO. Yes, Forrest did a similar move with MEH, but not e-mails to multiple searchers and not more than once that I know of but I could be wrong. This almost seems forced but yes it is all speculation. It's definitely gotten me to rein in my nutty ideas.

Hi Goldilocks: I was just emphasizing through Forrest's ATFs that he doesn't think much of hunches. Therefore, the poem is probably analytically solvable by design, allowing the solver to go confidently to the treasure's location with a smile on their face.

I know of one other person that will read this and understand what I am saying here.
I completely think and feel that sunshine since it has been so commonly used just recently is a “hint” to one of the most talked about clues in the chase which being; the home of Brown.
To many this does not make sense. There are two major chapters in the TTOTC Searching for Lewis and Clark and Buffalo Cowboys. Buffalo cowboys is a defining chapter for The home of Brown. It is a destination a real place and the chest I feel is not to very far away from this location.

he had about 30 subs since 14 now 400, with 14k chan views. Cleaned up his chan, and dumped all his old material, highly unlikely, especially with 4 kids, made all his vids, and created playlists within a month, vids and chan is super clean. His about description, My background is language study, history, and interpretation of ancient texts (hermeneutics). I like puzzles and games. I'm intrigued by the riddle of the poem. So I do this for fun—I'm not desperate to find the treasure chest. Or to put it another way, I haven't lost my job; I don't own a pickup; I don't have twelve kids (only four); but the idea of throwing a bedroll into the back of my, er, hybrid, and heading to the Rockies . . . well that just sounds fantastic. I live in Forrest's home state. But I've spent lots of time in the Rockies. I started hiking the trails of Rocky Mountain National Park back in the early 80s. I climbed Long's Peak last summer. (Whew!) My channel here is just an outlet for random thoughts, and maybe a way to meet like-minded people. Welcome! So out of the blue, we have super human guy, maybe, we'll see.
