I had submitted North Pole (Santa Claus, Rudolph) several months ago, based on the clues. No response.

What was Rudolph? He had the shiny red nose He was the leader - with the light... Misfit? And why the quote from "The Night Before Christmas"? The conclusion of that particular line in the poem is "and St. Nicholas too." Different publishers of the poem use different punctuation for this last part so that would make punctuation seem not to be important. It could be this whole last portion of the line or the entire poem reference is unimportant since Rudolph is not even mentioned as one of the reindeer. It could be used simply to make an association of the Rudolph reference in the clue links to St. Nicholas and Christmas. And of course part of the Christmas feast is a turkey. It seems that a letter to St. Nicholas is called for to get a better explanation.

I had submitted the guess that the answer is the marker where the wheels stopped on the runway after the last Endeavor flight. Apparently they place a marker. But I got no reply and that was months ago.
Also, I don't know how that relates to "Bourbon Red" or the Rudolph of the bird world.

I think it is funny that people are coming up with the same answers to the riddle, like our answer, and answers that have to do with arrows, but none of them are the "correct" answer! I think this shows that the riddle is not very well-constructed. It may mean something to Pete, but not to anyone else.

How funny! I never did find a picture of the Endeavor marker, did you? I found one for the Atlantis and an article that mentioned they had also placed one for the Endeavor so I figured it was worth a shot.

Was it 4x4? The Atlantis was bigger.

It was actually placed in a plaque, and overall it was bigger. It is hard to tell what the "real footprint (wheelprint)" of the wheel would be.
