I saw on Chase Chat, someone asking around if the name Wilson meant something to anyone. So I'll ask it here, since it has come up more than once in Forrest's writings. Does the name Wilson mean anything to anyone?
Not in general...but personal. Something Forrest would know about you? Hope everyone had a nice Easter Weekend.

I think it's #$!! Wilson. But that's not public or chase related.

Only thing I think of is Tom Hanks and the volleyball Wilson. That or tennis balls...

It's a baseball brand, but not really the same era of the references in the chase.

I take that back... they own Louisville Slugger, an icon in baseball since the 1890s

If Wilson doesn't have relevance to your solve, you might want to get a new solve. Wilson Hurley is one clear connection to Forrest. And if you want an aberration to further draw your attention to Wilson, look no further than Scrapbook 7. That's no Georgia O'Keeffe behind Forrest, Peggy and Michael.

It’s the reason for Fenn’s longevity. How is everyone else tying Wilson to their solves?

In my solve, Wilson is a pretty big confirming hint so happy to see it mentioned here. If you’re in the right place...

Wow good for those people who see something in this aberration. I take aberration in the literal definition - a defect of focus such as blurring in an image. How many times has Forrest misspelled a name like Neal or misplaced a caption with wrong info, misquoted someone etc.? Far too many times to count. I can’t imagine each instance points to a hint but that’s my opinion. I would guess in a larger way Forrest is pointing to something being misplaced. The amount of research it would require to follow up on names of people, artwork, artists, astronauts, acquaintances, books, authors etc would be huge. Is a redneck with 12 kids and a pick up really expected to research extensively and become an academic on each abberation? I doubt it but I could be wrong. I’m not saying Forrest is misleading. I think his message is broader.

I think his message is broader. I’ve never seen this message from Fenn. There are several factors I’ve used over the years to verify my clues. The word Wilson was one of my early finds in addition to the frog and the blaze. IMO, there is a lot of research but much less when you’re in the correct location. Who knows

First time seeing Scrapbook 7 - the aberration being Wilson is interesting, but the fact that it’s a piece of art that contains the aberration could also be considered a reference to a major part of the “confirming” hint. If you’re in the same spot as me, you could confirm this in a word.
It can be so difficult to separate confirming hint from confirmation bias, but It feels like Forrest keeps lobbing hints in this direction. I’m going through the books and then the scrapbooks and it seems like hints just jump off the page.
For me, this hint triangulates with NFBTFTW and WWWH.
Anyone else?
