Hello,
Figured if anyone wanted to discuss the various puzzles throughout the book or those directly related to the Scroll itself since it hasn’t been solved yet, we could discuss here
I’m having trouble with page 202. I took a break from this for a few months but I do recall that it is a Polybius, correct? Problem is: I feel like I’ve tried everything I can think of to do but I still only get partial solves. I assume I’m doing something or counting something wrong? Should there be a single integer by itself?
Also in direction, no matter how vague, would be helpful for the codes on the scroll. Again, I assumed they were Vig or a Sub so I started there but now I’m stuck, have tried all I can think of and just end up staring at the page.

For page 202, "the number of sides equals number sets" (so yes, it was Polybius). This was posted in the forum dedicated to the FF Coded Words words puzzle, if that helps.

I can't figure out the image with the NAME letters. Does the first clue refer to this, or something else?

I did see that solve... the problem was I couldn’t recreate the answer but I figured out what I messed up and figured it out.
That is what I too the clue to mean as well. But I’m not sure what to do with that maze or how to extract any answer/info from it. I’ve traced, followed every possible route and even tried to get letters from it but haven’t been successful.

Okay, I managed to get a two word phrase from the shapes, but I have a lot of extra shapes that don't seem to give clear words...
I've solved one of the ciphers on the left side of the page, and think another one is an anagram? But I still think I'm missing a lot (and still no clue on the NAME image).
Anyone else working on this/made any progress?

I'm revisiting this puzzle, wondering if anyone else has done any work on it and hoping we could share insights and maybe get this solved!
Here's what I have:
the answer to the cipher "myima huahyo..." is "the mind works with numbers." It is a vigenere cipher with the key "treasure the adventure." "Treasure the adventure" was also the answer to the dice puzzle in the book, which was solved using a polybius square with the key phrase "mysterious writings."
The shapes around the poem: you can get the phrase "find phrase" using the dark gray squares. If you take the number in the shape and apply it to the first stanza of the poem, counting that many letters, they spell out "find phrase" beginning from the top right square and going down (so 18 corresponds with the letter F if you count 18 letters in the first stanza, and so on). This works if you count every character, not just the letters, in the stanza. (The letters esahla acrtclr also anagram to "all characters" but I am not sure if that actually is correct and referring to how you count the letters in the poem or not).
The dark gray squares are the most straightforward, but you get some words with the others as well. The light gray pentagons, if applied to the second stanza, spell out "D Going." The white triangles are trickier, because there are two types of triangles. If you use the 3rd stanza for these, and if you group them by triangle type, you can spell out "Flat Soon th" (this ignores the large white triangle with the dice in it, which would give you an extra H). Then the black circles give you the letters IE if you use the fourth stanza for them. (Also, the circle and the square to the left of the title "The Forgotten word" are the letters "MW" if you apply those numbers to the first stanza.)
At the bottom of the page you have a series of 28 numbers, and the other cipher on the page (CVERFV) is also 28 characters. By my count, you also get 28 relevant letters from the shapes (Find Phrase D Going Flat Soon Th Ie), which are all different numbers. However, the black circles are odd because they don't spell anything out, and I'm not sure if the circle to the left of the title should be used or not, because it is set off from the rest of the letters and it does spell out MW with the black square when you apply them to the first stanza.
That's all I have! Maybe this can help jump-start discussion on this puzzle again...
