People are definitely reading along as I've gotten a few DMs. The letters led me to what I thought was a great solve but I still have searching to do. Back to work. I will share the letters some have confirmed in DMs, found using a mask on the word search. Look forward to sharing more ideas highdeoinaraekurataleofmesopotamiandeistjots

So, what do you think. Is the answer a person, place, or thing? I think it is the title of a famous myth, but I cannot find the exact myth. Thoughts?

jewelie I was thinking a title of a myth or a phrase from one. Still a bit stuck though after finding all those letters and words

Did anyone else notice that in the main hunt, past mountain homes anagrammed to Mesopotamian hunts?

That's a great observation. Further, "EKUR" literally translates to "mountain house."

Did anyone else notice that in the main hunt, past mountain homes anagrammed to Mesopotamian hunts? Did you submit that? It's as a good a guess as we have so far. Nothing related to Enlil has been the magic answer yet.

I backed away from “Enlil” and if we are in fact supposed to focus on a god, my current theory is the god “An/Anu.” Anu was the first supreme god and literally translates to “God on high” (high deo). This is a theory I am working on, anyway. An/Anu is also friendlier if we end up having to concatenate a phrase of some sort.
Hope this helps!

Pretty sure Enlil is correct. (Kind got confirmation)
Gilgamesh was my pick for a tale, but I'm looking for an alternative for that now.

Well the clue of the month isn't helping me much other than maybe I can stop reading Mesopotamian related sites.
Words from the initial word search aren't connecting any dots. some of the words knot, mint, coat, bag, trap, turing, cell, one, zero, two, note, mops, redherring, flower, johnconway.
Do we use the word to create another pattern? Doesn't seem like that works out very well as I've tried to do it with the 5 letter word and a 4 letter variation as well. Maybe I have the wrong word or using it incorrectly.

It's been solved already:

I didn't solve it, but I feel like I might've been close (though I obviously didn't know about the additional cipher):
1. Start with "LIFE 10" in the Game of Life 2. Use result on cipher text 3. Shift to the left by 1 (because "LIFE 10" was shifted 1 to the right) 4. Result is: "HIGH DEO IN AREAE KUR A TALE OF MESOPOTAMIAN DEIS" 5. (Note the "areae Kur", instead of "area Ekur", tough one, as both make sense in this context). 6. "Look at the start, but not the end" hints to "HIGH DEO IN AREAE KUR" 7. The high goddess of Kur was "Ereshkigal" 8. She's often referred to as "Queen of the Great Earth" (my submitted solution).
