Hi all, Shaun was kind enough to give me a lot of guidance in the early days of the hunt and my busted solution spurred off his ideas, so unable to share fully due to that relationship. Shaun's recent thoughts are here, and some are *outstanding* IMO: creationeer.co.uk/treasure/forrest-fenns-odyssey-odditiesThe enchanted circle (pi) indeed, and that is where I was looking too.

Where do warm waters halt? Well, if you're Moses, the Red Sea ( halted the Egyptian Army - halt is a military word). What is a banco? A dry river crossing. What is a Ford? (Miss Ford, Indiana Jones, prayed for d's Etc).
Begin it = i Added to warm waters halt = warm waiters halt. Where do warm waiters halt? At the 'pass' (warm food serving shelf in a kitchen).
We'll see...

He's got some interesting takes. "No nude standing, they're watching" is excellent, isn't it?

That's the first time I remember seeing Forrest's Tylenol comment, though I must have read it years ago. Shaun surprisingly didn't mention the connection to Dizzy Dean! But the first thing I checked was whether Forrest gave the blaze in that bizarre post, and he did -- TWICE. I'll add those to the tally of the thousands of other occasions he's done so. :-)

Hi Dave, what can I say other than Shaun shows too much reliance on Scrapbooks IMO, the poem and the book are where all relevance really lies. indigo

This is not his full 'solve', just some observations, focussing on the scrapbooks. Shaun states he's not sure if some of these things are diversions rather than clues. It's rather academic at this point, but I share the view that the general area could be confirmed by these and other anomolies. I think we all agree that the poem and the book are, sorry were, the primary source documents.

Always enjoy reading Shaun's thoughts.....as they get you thinking of all the possibilities...... and to realize there could have been so many things hidden, hinted to, and possibly missed......
