MW had asked searchers from The Chase Legacy FB Group to share in comments 'Thank you's' to send to Forrest Fenn. Here they are. This video will be part of The Chase Legacy. thechaselegacy.com/Forrest Fenn's Treasure Chest is Found, but the Chase never ends. The Chase is inside each of us. And for many who searched for Forrest’s Treasure, it may have activated our imaginations, got us to dream, and inspired us to live life to the fullest. As the quote goes, ‘Once the mind is stretched, it is difficult to get it to go back to normal shape’. There are many more treasures, of all types, out there to discover still. If we didn't believe that before Forrest's hunt, he has gotten us to believe in them now. And we will continue Chasing them.

I placed some small Arizona placer gold nuggets, that I have found over the years, at almost every location I searched during the chase. In plain sight.
That is my small legacy for my chase.

I think so many of us left 'treasures' at search spots..... it would be great to share them-- NOT the locations...just that they are out there to find....

They were left in some special places where I would sit down to gave thanks, to the spirits that be, for a wonderful trip and allowing me to share their beautiful world. Since they gifted me by sharing their treasures, I left a small treasure for them... They are not very large (between 5 and 8mm) and I personally panned each one out of an Arizona stream. I placed them on top of rocks or ledges where I would sit and take in the splendors of New Mexico. I can just see the archeologists of the future marveling and wondering who put them there. Imagine, Arizona nuggets in NM!
If someone finds them when I have passed this vale, may they think of me.
-TW
BTW, I have found Alaskan nuggets in Arizona ground!!! Yes, it's completely true. You might ask how I know they were Alaskan nuggets, but that's another story... Maybe I'll save it for a "Fennboree Legacy" campfire...

Jenny, This is a wonderful idea and I love the concept. For me I'm having a hard time thinking in terms of the Legacy just yet. So many positives have come from this hunt but I feel like so much is left in limbo. We don't know how this will end and we don't know what's happened. How can we look forward to a legacy when we don't have any answers at all. I'm not talking about clues, solves or location, I'm talking about why the long wait to hear anything. IMO a lawyer, publicist or Shiloh etc. could have come out by now and made another statement - at the very least to preserve the integrity of both the Chase and Forrest. Makes no sense why this hasn't been done yet, lawsuits or no lawsuits. I don't know what to think. I came into this fully believing in Forrest and his treasure hunt and I still do. For me however, it's premature to think about the Legacy when I don't have all the facts. I am patient and I will wait. If the finder and Forrest decide to reveal nothing I am at peace with that decision and it is a very real possibility. I would however appreciate a statement so that we can move forward. Thank you for all you have done for this hunt and for your forum.
