Here's a thought to let the adventure continue for the thousands of people who have followed this over the last decade, and need a sense of closure for the many many days and nights spent following this adventure. How about a geocache container placed in the spot with a sign-able scroll type registry inside? This way people can continue their adventure and follow their solves to completion.
