. What are the implications of forest not releasing any picture of him with the bracelet?
1) The treasure has not actually been found 2) The treasure has been found but the finder wants to keep the entirety of the treasure, perhaps for purposes of a sale or some other reason 3) The treasure has been found but the finder Need to wait some time Before removing any piece of the treasure or for some other reason, like a legal reason 4) The finder is just trying to decide what to do and not making any moves yet 5) The finder wants to return the bracelet to Forest, but is trying to find the best way to do it… Like, a face-to-face meeting or sending it anonymously 6) Forest has the bracelet but for some reason it’s not releasing any picture of it

Goldilocks made a good point in another thread. She said something about any legal reasons could have been addressed by lawyers already.

Or the OTHER bracelet was the important clue and he wanted everyone to think otherwise.

Good points, thanks for adding. Here is the post I found by goldilocks, April 1 2020 mysteriouswritings.proboards.com/post/45779/threadThe poem is subject to unknown interpretations, but may be in there somewhere. or in the chest. That supports this idea. gnosos, what other bracelet? The corona virus idea is interesting, could be. But, would there be a reason for Forrest not to say that is the reason?

Hi Astree, I think this is what goldhunter was referring to but not sure... "IMO a lawyer, publicist or Shiloh etc. could have come out by now and made another statement - at the very least to preserve the integrity of both the Chase and Forrest. Makes no sense why this hasn't been done yet, lawsuits or no lawsuits."

My thoughts... The chest is worth at least double if it is entirely complete. That means if the finder decides to sell it they must not take a single nugget, coin, jewel, and yes especially the bracelet.
I think Forrest never really wanted possession of the the bracelet. It was the one item in the chest that was uniquely identifiable (a mark from the maker or Forrest?) so the finder would not need to risk bringing him the chest... only the bracelet to prove the treasure was found. I also think he placed a note (IOU) in the box that when bracelet was shown to him (or his family, AD) the finder would receive a substantial cash reward (for legal advice costs?). Remember Forrest said he placed something in the chest, at the very last minute while closing the lid, before he placed the chest in it's hidy place. Something that the finder would find very exciting. I believe that Forrest would know the full worth of treasure is if the ENTIRE contents were intact. We all know a partial collection is not worth as much as an entire collection. For that reason I think he would allow the finder to keep the bracelet once it was identified as genuine.

. TW, thats partly what i was thinking in connection with point 2) above. We couls wonder if there was an IOU and id Forrest already paid it. (Would it be hard to keep it secret?). Goldilocks, thanks. Look at the timing on this. Imagine if it was in southwest u.s. www.cnn.com/travel/article/swiss-gold-bars-intl-scli/index.html
