If we are to believe Paul Paul… looking from wwwh toward the chest's location as far as the eye can see; and then looking from where the treasure lies back to where wwwh as far as the eye can see; located exactly on the line of sight between the two are the Nokhu Crags - translated as eagle's nest - the bird's eye view. He has now closed his youtube account and the video is no longer available. He's been bringing his videos up and down like a yoyo for the last several weeks. He did say in this most recent one that it would be his last. Sure didn't stay up long.

I have saved the video because I had a feeling...don't know what to think. Hopefully someone will do an interview soon to end the speculation of numerous "finders".

Not sure either about part two? Seems his sign-off was a figurative middle finger aimed right at the community. If he is the finder, I can understand how what he sees as vitriol is too much of a burden and not worth the effort, considering he does have title to the gold. If he isn’t the finder and it’s a ruse, seems odd behavior to turn off your site when it was gaining clicks.
I’ll admit to some confirmation bias with regards to part one of his video; I find his hidden hint in the picture of Indulgence persuasive for my solve

This is what I heard Paul Paul say but some of you may have heard differently:
Warm waters halt at the well in F's back garden under the wagon. The chest was in the well (which could answer why it was wet). Forrest never promised us the chest, just title to the gold. Our job was to learn where the chest was hidden and then we would be given title to something. This could all be done from home and with no BOTG. All you needed to do was prove to F the exact spot the chest was (just like he told the prisoner). When standing over the well and looking North of Santa Fe (perhaps following the Santa Fe Trail out F's back door) you would see, not far but too far too walk, the mountain peaks of Southern Colorado. Paul Paul has not said exactly what he was given title to but it could have something to do with a gold claim in southern Colorado for example. Paul Paul favored the Pike National Forest area in Southern Colorado. I know this because he made that public some time ago. As Paul Paul stated, the chest and the title to the gold are 2 different things which I know many people would agree with. Let's assume Paul Paul is telling the truth - does his recollection add up with other things Forrest has said? Could Forrest have been sitting in a bank vault office, taking inventory of the chest before stashing it away safe and sound?

Hi Goldilocks, I'm coming in here without any background on Paul Paul. Regarding "the chest was in the well" I assume you or Paul Paul means a well at Fenn's home?
(1) Fenn unambiguously tells us that the treasure is "in the mountains somewhere north of Santa Fe" (p.131); this is later clarified as "the Rocky Mountains at least 8 miles north of Santa Fe" (Forrest Gets Mail-8). (2) It is "not associated with any structure" (Old Santa Fe Trading Co or Today Show, I think); you can determine for yourself if you consider a well to be a structure. (3) The treasure chest is "not under water" nor "under a man-made object" (Safety First); you can determine for yourself if you think these would apply to Fenn's well.
Perhaps I'm confused about your or Paul Paul's line of thinking?

And FF said the chest was found on the ground in the exact spot where he left it over 10 years ago.

Paul Paul, as I heard the video, seems to be saying the treasure (title to the gold) is separate from the chest. He is saying that the chest is under a wagon in Forrests garden, in a well. No need for BOTG, just clear message to Fenn of that precise location to claim the title to the gold, that being title to a location North of Santa Fe.
I didn't get his logic on this point. Before seeing that video I was convinced he was the finder, now not so sure. Perhaps some of the logic of this chase has eluded me though (most of us since it wasn't found until now).

Hi Jeff, Yes, the well is on Forrest's property at his house. (1) According to Paul Paul, the treasure is somewhere North of Santa Fe, not the chest. The chest and treasure are two separate things. (2) Regarding "not associated with any structure" according to the link at Dal's here is the context of that quote, "When people were going to tear the side of a building down, I had to say it's not associated with any kind of structure." Could he have implied any structure above ground? I have no idea. (3) Wells often run dry, especially old wells. Forrest did say the treasure is wet, possibly from moisture but it does not mean the chest was submerged if in fact it was at the bottom of the well. These are Paul Paul's claims. I am only looking into the feasibility of his claims.

You didn't get his logic on his point about the title being related to something North of Santa Fe? Before he said that he was talking about gold mines/claims/stocks, so that could be what he was referring to...

So we have to contact Forrest? What if he died? What about throw a bedroll in your truck? If the goal was to get people out in the mountains but you can't find it by getting out in the mountains because the chest is on Forrest property but the "title" is north of Santa Fe? Why couldn't a little girl from India find it? Why would kids perhaps have an advantage? It just doesn't feel like a logic fit to me, but my logic didn't make me rich so...

The little girl in India couldn't get past first 2 clues. So in fact she could solve it from home like Paul Paul did (hypothetically). Paul Paul said the first clue wwwh is the well. You are assuming the chest is the end game. Paul Paul is saying it is not. We just had to prove to Forrest we knew where the chest was in order to earn the title to the prize. I am sure Forrest had a contingency plan as to what would happen if the chest was found after he died. The poem and TTOTC did lead us all to search the outdoors and put bedrolls in trucks. We didn't know the chest was on his property (if in fact it was) and so people searched the Rockies. His goal was a success.
