This was such a great puzzle. I'm looking forward to the solve. I got stuck on gold rush center, removing the letters g r e e d, then anagraming to lochturns. I couldn't let it go so the last few weeks were trying number combos with it.

Congratulations to the winner! I have a feeling that if it wasn't Coy (wink), then it was probably TheDutchCoder, I haven't seen him/her on here in a while. I thought that the watery tragedy was BytheSea because, in the 50's a photographer, took a picture of a couple that was in anguish and dispair, because their 2 year old baby was swept away in the sea on Gold Beach, and the photographer publish the photo and called it tragedy by the sea. And then I thought that maybe a cross appended high or low in hand meant, the address of Dan's Ace, that was appended on the front of the building, 140 so I had BytheSea140A but no way that I tried worked out. Also, I didn't like that the key tester wouldn't show me what I was typing in, because I could have gotten the right answer and just typed it in a little wrong, or misspelled it or had the wrong capitalization and I wouldn't have known it. I think the key tester(s) should show you what answer you are putting in the box. Congrats again to the winner!

Yes this was an excellent puzzle. Congrats to the winner. Thank you to everyone who helped me along the way and allowed me to catch up so quickly. I was hung up on The Fool's Errand computer game. 14 puzzles/riddles to solve. They have a card game in it much like poker where the fool is in both the high and low hands. A vintage video game seemed fitting for the final key in a digital hunt. There were simply too many options to go through. Interestingly enough when you look at the overall game map the poker tile has both 21 and X on it. To get there you go from a tile with a small stream and past a tile with pyramids that look like mountains. Very interested to see if I was even on the same planet.

(Forrest's treasure was more than likely located on private land of which was then possibly deeded to the finder. Too many crazies out there so secrecy would be expected.)

I don't understand why the solver would want to remain anonymous? I mean they are missing out on some serious treasure hunter bragging rights lol I mean its not like it was a 1 million dollar chest or something! Even if they did solve it from information shared here, which I'd say they did, that is what this group is for and is about, to share and help each other while doing what you love treasure hunting. Congratulations again whoever you are!
