Hi heideni, oh ye of little faith. It is nowhere near specialized knowledge you just look at rainbows on Google it is all there to be found, you only need those two colors and their angles and associate it with temperature which Forrest gave you clues to in the poem. It is completely logical to me, I believe Forrest mentioned logic didn't he. Why don't you at least follow along with me to the end and then decide, deal? So we have a prism and prisms project color. "From there" relates to 'Pueblo' the place that completes the prism shape. Notice that 'blue' is mixed up in the middle of 'Pueblo'so you project the Blue angle of 40 degrees from here which runs slightly Northwest. You do this accurately by drawing a horizontal line from the map's vertical borderline through the tiny circle dot under 'Pueblo'now project 40 from here it takes you to "From there it's no place for the meek" there is some trickery needed to find this place for it does not reveal itself until you increase the map size, then it suddenly comes into view, the place name is 'Adelaide' however being a ghost town it has no little ring to draw accurately to, but if you search its name whilst on the map 'Google' will put a RED pin on it for you. You now have an accurate point to draw to, namely the point of the pin. 40 degrees from 'Pueblo' hits it.This is the general location of the treasure. You will see that 'Adelaide' lies along 'Phantom Canyon Road' number 67. These two numbers reveal themselves in syllable counts of lines 2 and 3 of Stanza 1. All the lines of Stanza 3 apply to this place and its road. If you want me to explain why I can. The blaze is here so go to Google Earth and look for something that stands out, Forrest once used that analogy. Let me know what you see. indigo Since your name is Indigo, you of course have an inclination towards color for your answer. Roy- g- biv. You, Indigo, haven’t placed yourself at the end of the rainbow. Violet is at the end. And to state ye of little faith- first you need to spell my name properly. That is important if you are going to insult one’s faith. Second- I have an abundance of faith. Just not in your explanation.

Hi Goldilocks, guessed you might. Have you got very far with it? Would love to know some of its content if you would be so kind.

That is important if you are going to insult one’s faith. Second- I have an abundance of faith. Just not in your explanation. Apologies for spelling error in your name 'heidini'. Have you actually looked at the map? The long slender triangle formed by linking Pueblo, Canon City and Adelaide together, if traced off of the map is the small constellation known as 'Triangulum' and can overlay it precisely on its star photo. By the same token 'Triangulum' appears on the cover of 'Once upon a while' and if you turn it upside down as it should be viewed that is exactly as it appeared to me in the sky one late night at the blaze. The largest star represents 'Adelaide' on the map geometry. If you look at 'Adelaide' on Google Earth the thing that stands out is the large circle, it is a Cistern. If you go to Page 106 of TTOTC you will see that Forrest has foretold what you will expect to see. It is the third line down, it reads: "Our gallery soon became a cistern for IDEAS and OPPORTUNITIES, that constantly flowed into it. He intended us to use it to end the solution to his poem. If you look on the opposite side to Page 107 all you see is a photo of his two young daughters who resemble 'Twins' which is a hint to 'Gemini' in the Zodiac wheel. I believe we imagine the cistern as the Zodiac, and we have another puzzle to solve here. Furthermore in the stone circular edge of the cistern three iron pins are laid out, two on the left and one on the right as you approach it, they are in the same configuration as 'Triangulum' signalling this as the blaze. If you go to Scrapbook 172 'The Sound of Bells' look at the photo of Kiva 'A' it is remarkably like the blaze cistern.

Hi Goldilocks, guessed you might. Have you got very far with it? Would love to know some of its content if you would be so kind. No, I only received the book a month or so ago so not very far. Since this is a FF thread I don't want into get into it but there's lots of info. online because many of the 11 riddles have been solved. It's different from this hunt in that there is confirmation along the way.

To continue onward with my solution from the site of Adelaide and its circular cistern, I revealed in another thread that the state word COLORADO confirms what we were looking for and where; COLORADO has COLD in it in the correct order. It leaves the name ORA within, she was the school janitor you may remember, the name ORA means LIGHT now we are left with an O for CIRCLE which gives us 'COLD LIGHT CIRCLE' Cold Light is the BLUE Light angle of 40 degrees.
COLO/RADO is the only even number lettered state. It can be split into two groups of four letters and if you do this and anagram the two groups you get 'LOCO ROAD' The circle is found using the cold light angle of Blue 40 degrees and describes what we are to seek. And Loco Road relates to where it was. Phantom Canyon Road was formerly a railroad line hauling gold ore to Florence from Cripple Creek and Victor mines. Confirmation to me.

It is very sad that when trying to explain the theory of how this puzzle may have been designed to work and I do say may, namely, that it seems based on the rainbow that you get a comment such as 'sounds like specialized knowledge' when that information is freely available on 'kid's sites' explaining the formation of rainbows. Probably why this went hunt went on as long as it did, simply by searchers refusing to believe or accept that there was a system to this all along which Forrest saw and exploited to the full. In light of the fact that no solution has been promulgated this was my theory and solution that took me to the circular cistern at 'Adelaide' along 'Phantom Canyon Road' as the blaze. All that I have posted on this can readily be followed on the map should you wish to verify it and follow along.
When you arrive at this spot you are subject to Forrest's instructions in his Periodic Words quote which went something like this: "You can't have a correct solve unless you can knowingly go within several steps of the treasure otherwise you just have a general solve. What do you think? paraphrasing. This to me suggests that the blaze circle itself has its own puzzles you must apply to fully know where you are to look for something. Two I believe were to be worked out on the zodiac wheel and one on a clock face, they each confirm that something was at the center of this cistern circle and it was buried there, it clearly was not the chest but whatever it was led you to the location of the chest. I know that this thing was unearthed within days of our visit to the site as Google Earth image of it was fortunately updated within a few days of our leaving the site. I believe it was the Bracelet itself.
If this site had the means to upload photos I would gladly upload them, but it appears it does not. Which in itself was a missed opportunity.
