.. The line 3 and 4 of code have 23 almost on top of each other, 23+23 =46, reverse the asterisk 64 on the 23 23 line. The 23 next to 32, reverse again

Randy (Creator of The Beacon Star) shares his initial attempts at solving the code: Randy notes that 65 is highest number in the code. He also shows that 24 / 42 is missing from the code. that the factor 65. = 13x5 is interesting, because Revelation ch 13 talks anout the 666 Revelation 13:5 is And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for forty-two months. Edit in: Randy, I don't recall if you mentioned it in your video related to the 65 = 13 x 5, but in the cipher the 2nd 65 is found in the 13th position. Maybe you were picking up on that?

Cumulative, the numbers add up to 2000. Seems like that could be a clue. 2000 Y2K the Y is featured on the 64 the background beat on the video is 11 11 (k k, k=11) ================= The opal colors begin with B O T G

Giving up on this. Without any hints there just isn't enough to go on to find the source material.
Good luck everyone.

Here is my guess: I used the poem "The Punishment of Pride" by Walt Whitman from the source The New World 3 (18 December 1841). While researching angels/seraph led me to the site www.silverpoet.com where the angel of grief by William Wetmore Story is the main picture. He was also a poet. From the cipher clues I have the word "son". An angel of grief memorial is on the gravesite of William Scott Youree, son, in Scottsville Cemetery in Scottsville, Texas. Using the 6, 64, 9, 6 I get "come placed below come". If anyone is near there could they take a look. I live too far away.

I will, I know I can't look there but maybe someone who lives near there can search. I enjoy the research end and let someone else be the BOTG.

Has anyone played with the movie titled “The New World”? The music resembles music from the movie if I remember right. Or using the opal entry in the New World Encyclopedia.

Upon further reflection I think it has something to do with the song "Goin' Home" which is a piece taken out of the symphony titled "The New World".

Hello. I'm new here and haven't posted before - please pardon any faux pas. I've just discovered The Cipher and am enjoying the puzzle. I'm curious, have any of you considered the manga One Piece New World as the source material?

Hi! I looked at it a little because I love manga art and dabbling in the art side of that world. I lightly dug around and couldn't quite find something to use as my code source so someone more knowledgeable would be a great help.

Randy (Creator of The Beacon Star) shares his initial attempts at solving the code: Hi Jenny, I'm wondering if there's any word from the creator? It's been nearly a year since we've heard anything and would love a little boost. Thanks!

I'm just starting on this one - though it's been around awhile. Initial thoughts / observations:
lines 1 and 4 smaller font. lines 2 and 3 larger font.
Three "opals"? In the sentence there is one smaller circle and one larger ellipse. The other " opal" below is exactly the size of the above two combined. ex: circle rx=1 ry=1; ellipse rx=1 ry=2; Combined rx=2 ry=3
Taken together, this might indicate numbers in lines 1 or 4 must be combined with numbers from lines 2 or 3.
Line1 has the marked 6 in the sixth position over from the right. Line 3 has the marked 9 in the ninth position from the left. However they are supposed to be used, perhaps line 1 must be read from right to left and line 3 from left to right.
19 numbers of line 4. 19 letters in the sentence at top.
All this is likely already know. I just find it helps to think out loud.

Hi all,
I am wondering if people are still working on this treasure hunt. I am nowhere near the solution, as I am not as skilled in solving problems as you all seem to be (I'm quite a newbie to treasure hunting). Also I'll probably will never dig this one up myself as this one is in the USA and I am on the other side of the world. But I love reading all of the theories. I am on the apollo nasa 1969 track, but the source material part has got me stumped. I love to read where you all are at.
