The line "But one of seven is missing" implies that there is a well-known series that should include seven pieces: The Seven Sisters (colleges)? Seven deadly sins? Seven Samurai? Seven days in a week?
But we will identify the grouping because only six of the seven expected places or figures or items are present.
I am guessing it might be a statue that is missing because the next line says, "On her forehead was written a name." Although it would be a bit weird to write a name on the forehead of a statue.
