7H3 C0D3 by Master Mophios- SOLVEDBrian is a Master himself! He has claimed multiple treasures from breaking codes, and he has achieved this once again in the treasure hunt of 7H3 C0D3 by Master Mophios. He solved this challenging puzzle shortly after release and claimed its treasure. While other searchers may have still been testing ciphers, crunching numbers, looking for patterns, or counting squares, Brian was submitting an answer. For this reason, we need to pick the Brain of Brian a bit! Funny how he once mentioned he dislikes anagrams….but he seems to use one a lot! Let’s see what we can learn from the Brain, or I mean Brian….. (either works. 🙂 ) READ MORE ON MW: Six Questions with Brian mysteriouswritings.com/six-questions-with-brian-p-winner-of-7h3-c0d3-by-master-mophios/

Soup to Nuts - SOLVEDOne of my favorite quotes is ‘There is a Treasure that awaits for each of us to find.’(Paul Coelho). This seems confirmed in the following story of Found Treasure! On October 1st, Nickolas Nelson shared the armchair treasure hunt, Soup to Nuts, on a few social media channels. Nickolas created the hunt to inspire those living in Bar Harbor, Maine, to get out and explore the sights and history around town. It did just that. But as you will note in the following Six Questions, the visual clues and cryptic messages on the Puzzle Page (shown below) seemed to be meant for Mike Staggs! He began noticing the clues on the puzzle page from his daily tasks, and started to put the clues together. They would lead him, and his son, to the hidden treasure! How wonderful! (After the Six Questions, the full solution to the puzzle, as explained by Nickolas, is given) The treasure was a beautiful Bee with gemstone. It was placed in a box and buried—to wait for discovery. Congrats to Dan who solved The Golden Oyster Armchair Treasure Hunt and Claimed the Prize! ---- After almost exactly two years The Golden Oyster armchair treasure hunt is solved! Congrats to Dan Worthington, a first time puzzler, who put the final clues together and discovered where the Golden Oyster was hidden. He will receive the Golden Oyster and over $1,000 in cash! Jo Bartley released The Golden Oyster armchair treasure hunt in May of 2020. The hunt was fully armchair – in that the hidden location of the golden oyster only needed to be submitted via email. A searcher did not need to physically visit the location to claim the prize. In a previous Six Questions, Jo shared, “It’s not really a big secret that 21 of the pages reveal 21 locations in my town. The trick is to work out how they reveal the eventual location of the treasure.” Dan accomplished just that! Dan had plotted each of the 21 locations on a map which formed a gridded area. He then realized, by utilizing other clues from the puzzle, that he needed to create a X on the map by using 4 churches as end points for the X. The churches were within a plotted area hinted to in the puzzle. The X marked the spot! The Golden Oyster was hidden in Westmeads Recreation Grounds in Whitstable. (Full Solution posted on The Golden Oyster Website) - MW Forum Threads/LinksHear more of his story in a MW Six Questions: mysteriouswritings.com/found-treasure-six-questions-with-dan-worthington-on-solving-the-golden-oyster-armchair-treasure-hunt/
