Perhaps mentioned elsewhere but I noticed the star(fish) colors on fandango’s back on page 51 are red yellow yellow red and the flowers in the window box on page 40 are yellow red red yellow.
Anywhere else anyone notice these patterns? Looking at the red and yellow specifically because of the red and yellow fandango title and the compasses on the map and back cover...

Perhaps mentioned elsewhere but I noticed the star(fish) colors on fandango’s back on page 51 are red yellow yellow red and the flowers in the window box on page 40 are yellow red red yellow. ... and the seashells are orange. There are red/yellow patterns and explicit references throughout the book with the most obvious being the p. 40 Red/Yellow/Book (=orange) signpost acrostic. Here's another: the 2nd illustration border is red, the 4th illustration border is yellow, the 6th is orange. 2 (red) + 4 (yellow) = 6 (orange). Six is divisible by 1, 2 and 3 (Fandango dance steps ). Border phrases on the 6th illustration: "Count to (two) three" "now smile". Why add and multiply? Dunno, but maybe that is what the symbols on the chest in illustration 2 are telling us to do. Happy hunting!
