The Roaring Twenties hunt has been posted. There will be two prizes awarded. One for the first to correctly answer Who, What and Where. The second will go to whoever can identify and explain the most clues - between the illustration and the poem, there are over 20 clues (2 treasures going to 2 different people!).
Good luck!

Quick update I have received a few solutions that are partially correct. I was not very clear in my instructions and I apologize for that. The pictures and the poem tell a story, so include many aspects of that story. The solutions I have received include pieces of the story. If you see or read something in the clues that doesn't fit with your solution, see if you can find what it means and how it fits in the story. If you already have a partial solution, it should be easy to find.
In case you are working to get the most clues for one of the prizes, there are 30 clues between the image and the poem.
I appreciate your patience. This is my first hunt and I am learning things I need to pay attention to in the next one.

I am pleased to announce there are TWO winners of the initial solve part of the hunt. I received adjusted solutions from both of them back and forth so it was hard to determine who was first with the best answer, so I'm awarding a prize to each of them!
So congratulations to members bobby and thebunny!
The hunt is still on and there will be another prize for the person who solves the most clues - I still will need the who, what and where, and remember there are 30 clues. Some are obvious but others are hidden. Feel free to ask any questions here.

I have received a few questions regarding the hunt, so wanted to answer them here.
1. The text on the center of the lower border is 'messed up' so that the entire thing cannot be googled. Because this is a known document, it would reveal the solution too quickly, but once you identify the who, you will be able to find it.
2. The newspaper article contains more than one clue and uses more than one method.
3. The poem serves to both verify the person and events, but also points to the specific solution I am looking for.
4. When you submit your list of clues identified, I do still need the main solution as that will link all the other clues together.
5. You can submit answers as many times as you want - there is no limit. I will announce an end date when enough people have started submitting answers.
6. There will be two prizes awarded to the two lists with the most clues correctly solved. I will have Jenny post pictures of the prizes once the hunt is over.
Thanks to everybody who has sent me comments and feedback. It helps me understand what is working and what is not, as I am assembling my next hunt.

Let me know if it is time for a hint. I want to make sure I have as many submissions as possible for the final prizes. Thanks!

Unless anyone wants more time, this hunt will end on Sunday 9/27. Please submit your answers by then and I will post the solution and answers to the clues on Monday 9/28.
If anyone feels they would like more time, they can send me a message and I will extend the end date.
Thanks to everyone who has participated!
