Hi Tara,
Thanks for your note.
The end date is Nov. 26th and if no one solves the riddle by then, as stated in the rules, the riddle will be revealed "after the end date on a website or in a subsequent publication."
When I put this together years ago, I thought someone would solve the riddle. I also didn't know where or what I would be doing so didn't plan on a specific 'reveal' date or 'reveal' presentation. I have never planned or mentioned a reveal on Nov 26th but I have been asked if there will be a reveal presentation on that date. Not that many books sold, but I have come to learn there are a number of devoted treasure hunters and It would be lots of fun to meet and have a 'reveal' gathering. Unfortunately, with the Covid situation a gathering would not be advisable so I will be sticking with the original plan.
I plan to add the solution to a website soon after the 26th as well as either posting the solution or making a video and posting on youtube or other media site. I will also have the solution available for anyone who contacts me with a request. Maybe sometime in the future I can organize a FANDANGO gathering. I am amazed at the different solutions and would love to hear how people arrived at them - I suppose that is part of every treasure hunt.
Should no one solve the riddle, I will be donating the "prize" to charity. I plan to donate to local charities on Mt Desert and would like to mention them along with the solution ( I may need a couple of days to organize this after the 26th). I have not decided to which organizations to donate (any suggestions?) as there is still time to solve the riddle.
Hopefully I haven't ruined your birthday plan (and Happy Birthday in advance).
All the best,
Pel
Just thought y'all might be interested as well in his plans. I will continue working on Fandango until the very last minute. Let's solve this!

Mr Stockwell,
My family and I own a home in Bar Harbor (but live in Texas during non summer months) and are hoping to attend the reveal on Thur. Nov. 26th (which also happens to be my birthday. My family has decided that after watching me devote 8 mind numbing years to Fandango, they’d like to give me my birthday wish of being there to see the solution.
Before we book tickets to fly there we were wondering if you could let us know if the reveal is set in stone to occur on Nov 26th. Any details you can share for that process would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you again. I haven’t given up so maybe a last minute aha moment will occur but regardless, thank you for giving my family countless memories we will charish.
Tara
