morse code for ky Kentucky capps are dash non capps are dot _ . _ = K _ - _ _ Y Great idea! Does that suggest the rest of the chapter follows a Morse Code solution? IF IT IS KY? Is KY a 'Red Herring' or unintentional? What do you all think?

Great catch! Definitely could be the first code in chapter!! I am fascinated by the number of "numbers" in the first chapter. I've listed them all and it's 4 pages long. Also, many words that are capitalized mid sentence that shouldn't be capatalized. David Steele said in an interview (can't remember which one), that there will be FOUR distinct ways to solve...one for each Chapter. Perhaps Morse Code may play a bigger role in this chapter than just in the title?

It might be a random mistake, or just casual writing, but I wanted to flag that "Craig's List" was spelled incorrectly at the beginning of Chapter1, but was spelled correctly (Craigslist) in the next two instances. I quickly Googled CL cipher, which led me to the CL Dodgson ( aka Lewis Carrol) Alphabet Cipheren.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Alphabet_CipherIt'd be funny if the Dodge-son cipher is used to solve the Chapter about Fords

Hi, all new to the forum. Downloaded the book a few days ago and started to try and tackle Chapter 1. Here are some thoughts which I still do not know yet on where to go from here....
Title: Using the capital letters LGITH...unscrambled it spells LIGHT. Maybe this is a keyword for some kind of cipher. Possibly a Cipher by CL Dodgson as stated above by Allen K.
Also found it odd that the word three was mentioned in the beginning tiktok entry and the last entry. "Top three in oceans" and then "top three hardest places"
Once I saw the three listed at beginning of chapter and end, also found it odd that the gas price in the chapter was states to be exactly 3.39.9 ......Maybe something to do with 3x3 or 9x9.
Just a few thoughts!

also just realizing that Answer to the $10,000 question was basically 3 items. The singer. The Song. The Composer. Maybe just a coincidence but 3 seems to pop up quite a bit.

The breakfast grill "Local Eatery". I could not find one in Huntington Beach. They seem to be most common in Tennessee.

Hey - has anyone else noticed that there are a bunch of "dotted underlined" sentences in Chapter One now? These were not there when I first bought the book a month ago. Or am I going mad? And they just about all seem to be underlining stuff that I thought was important for the solve.

Hmm I thought those were page breaks to denote a change of some amount of time in the story.. if I'm thinking of the same dotted lines. I only see 2 of them.

I recently got my brother-in-law interested and he got the book too. Asked me this morning are all the underlined sentences clues. I thought "what underlined sentences"? Sure enough, my book (kindle of course) now has them too. It for sure didn't when I first got it.

Is it just the two in chapter one? Or do you have more?!
