Can the Chapter Headings hint to a method used in the Chapters?
It's been noted by TheTreasureHunter (great idea!) the first chapter gives KY in Morse Code.... leading to not only Kentucky, but possible further method..... (if intentional?)
Another chapter uses the word 'turned'....possibly to hint to a Wheel Cipher or other 'Dial' method...
Here are the titles:
Chapter 1: Ladies and Gentlemen, It's a Treasure Hunt
Chapter 2: WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER!
Chapter 3: "ONE HIT, BAM!"
Chapter 4: SLOWLY WE TURNED...

Chapter 1: capital letters are LGITH.....unscrambled it is LIGHT. Maybe a keyword or can point us in the right direction.

Patrick speaks the phrase, "slowly we turned", in the chapter, as well.

it’s the 3 stooges skit, Niagara Falls. I emailed them and asked if that was it and they said that the title doesn’t really give anything away but that it also doesn’t mean it’s not there? Idk |

But there's more -- I think all four chapters are related by Title. Please stick with me. I mentioned it before but that was before I had made the connection to 3 of the chapters. We're going to find out for sure here in the next 4 days because of the incoming clue. But here goes ..... I think the preceding chapter's title holds a hint toward that chapter's solve. Example is: ONE HIT: BAM! as Chapter 3 title is a hint for the Chapter 4 solve. The rest.... 1. Ladies and Gentlemen, It's a Treasure Hunt = LGITH = LIGHT. Chapter 2 is all about Star Wars and Light is mentioned 7 times. (Light sabers.. light speed... etc) Code? 2. WINNER WINNER, CHICKEN DINNER! -- I can't figure this one out. How is this related to Phenwick Phutz and his sham decade-long treasure hunt? 3. ONE HIT, BAM! = as mentioned before, this might be a nod to the One Hit Wonder solve methodology of Chapter 4. 4. SLOWLY WE TURNED... -- This one was tricky (of course we don't yet know the solve method for Chapter One). But if you look in Chapter One ... page 16. Patrick says "Done. Now I say we turn north on the 57." This is the sentence right before the next few that obviously "explain" the solve method (not really explain but you know what I mean). Turning onto the next road, and "taking note" of it is definitely where the codes/ciphers are in Chapter One. It's a little reachy ... but it could be something. What do you think? |

The problem with the title of Chapter 4 being a hint to the solve of Chapter 1 is that there were originally 10 chapters. He only chopped it into 4 and 6 because of Covid restrictions keeping him from hiding all 10. So if your theory is correct, 4 should hold a clue to the method of 5 which we haven't seen yet.

It's a digital book, it would be trivial to swap a few chapter titles to make the chapter title / chapter hints (if you believe they are) work after breaking the book into two pieces. If they are clues I am sure the author would have done so. |

True. Although Slowly I Turned does seem to fit the chapter itself because they were told to drive slowly up to Pike's Peak which had a lot of switchbacks.
