SURPRISE!
Wake up, kids, it's a surprise early Christmas clue for The Great U.S. Treasure Hunt!
We've been asked about Chapter Four, do the song titles or artist names count, so we'd say the answer is Yes!

Another Early Gift
Begin it Where Warm Waters Haaaaa, just kidding. Hunting really begins when you get Rickrolled and ends 500 years in the future.

Note: (from George Ward who runs The Secret FB Group and who was asked by TGUSTH to share the following)
Hi Everyone! The Great US Treasure Hunt is having technical issues and is unable to respond to comments on facebook. They want it to be known that they are not ignoring comments. They have asked if you need to contact them, please do so via PM, Twitter, or Email for the time being. Thank you!

Note on FB:
Hi Jeff here, I am the president of The Great U.S. Treasure hunt. If you think you have a solution, to a chapter, please email thegreatustreasurehunt@gmail.com with your solution. Of coarse you are just free to go and look where you think the proxy is located. We just don't want you to spend money unless you have a solution. We respond to all emails. You must have the full and complete solution and the object to win the money. Example Chapter 4 solution was "North Vegas, El Dorado, bench, silver, Z" The solution will be complete. If you are close with the solve we will not discourage you to not go. We will email you a response and let you know if you are correct or close. You will know either way. Let's say your solution was a Silver I instead of a Silver Z, some thought is was an I or Z. The correct solution was Z. When you found a Z instead of an I you'd still know you have the solution as you only had a choice between and I or Z. One letter will not prevent anyone from winning. Don't forget a picnic table bench is a still a bench. Please email us your solution. Happy hunting. Hope that helps a bit.

CLUE 2...SORRY FOR THE DELAY
Speaking confidentially, CHAPTER TWO'S #StarWars rants are Kayla's opinions, opinions with which some, mostly nice people agree, many not too nice disagree, and everyone else finds ever ever so entertaining.

SEND PROPOSED SOLUTIONS BEFORE TRAVEL! January 29, 2021 Unlike the book states, you may send a proposed solution to thegreatustreasurehunt@gmail.com before traveling to a site to search for an item.
We won't be able to comment on if your method is correct, but we will be able to advise you NOT to travel if you have the wrong solution. You won't receive hints, and please send the full solution, which will include a precise location and the item for which you are looking. "North Las Vegas" would not be a complete solution, and neither would "North Vegas Eldorado," because that doesn't say what you're looking for.
If you get a correct solution, our answer will no longer be "you have the wrong solution," but we can't say exactly what answer you'll get. But you'll be happy.
Good luck and have fun!

There's no point to emailing solutions. These aren't solvable without the twitter "clues" and by the time a clue is posted on twitter it's just a mad dash to get to the item, can't be waiting around for an email to come back.

But...he told someone who sent him the correct solution to Chap 4 not to go because he knew there were other teams on the way that would get there first. So that is a good reason to email the solution.

So that is a good reason to email the solution. Do what ya like, but what if they didn't say that until 6 hours after he originally sent the email?....

You’re right, if they don’t answer immediately it’s not much help.

Can someone clarify something for me?
Did they say they used all four time zones or just three? And was this said in an interview, on twitter, in a FB conversation? I saw someone on FB say it was only three, but I haven't found this from anyone associated with the hunt. I have not followed every interview and every FB conversation, so I could have easily missed it.
This is one of the things I hate about this hunt. Information is released all over the place and then passed on like a game of telephone until there is no way to trace back what was or wasn't said and where it came from, unless you go back and read and watch everything. And even then, you get conflicting statements.
