Seek a Fe "One of four" = F, "last in line" = E, Fe = iron. Find an iron marker "off" or near the benchmark. This is either the single iron rung on the Cadillac Mountain South Ridge trail or the iron ringbolt located to the Northeast of the benchmark (44 21' 09"N, 68 13' 26"W).thisjustin -
I pulled this out of your longer post because I also had the idea that One of Four = F, Last in Line = E, meant FE = Iron. But I continued with the FOP border, 'Tradition Carries' meaning the traditional way to get around the island was by horse. An Iron horse is a train, so 'All in a Name' could mean the name of the cog railroad that used to go from Eagle Lake to the top of Cadillac. It was called the Green Mountain Cog Railway. There are still remnants of it, but they are in the park, so I never took the idea any farther. Another confirmer could have been, 'Go! Act!' which anagrams to 'At Cog'.
Thanks for sharing all your ideas. It's making me pull out all my old notes and re-examining the thousand and one theories I've gone through. I have one last visit to the island before Thanksgiving, but still don't have a solid location, just a few final ideas to check out.
