I'm new to the these forums but been working on Fandango for the last 2 years. Hopefully this can help someone piece things together in the next few days. Certain illustrations(19,30,51) "fit" together to create a partial circle. The section that is missing fits in with one of the triangle sections of the key page. I don't know what to do with this info, but maybe someone else has an idea. If anyone can explain how I can share a photo, I'll upload it so you can see how they piece together.

ah2929,
Thanks for offering to share a picture. There used to be a way to directly insert a picture because I have done it before, but now it looks like you can only share a link to one. So you would have to insert a link to a photo library location. See searcher1991's "An Eye Reflects" thread for an example.
If anyone knows of a way to directly insert a picture please let me know as there are a few I could share as well.

Thanks for this image - amazing work! I love all the folds in your pages. I think when this is all over, we should have a competition to see whose book is in the worst shape LOL!

I was thinking the same! Who has destroyed their book the most?
Besides - we are just following the text from the book:
"...folding for the plunge ..." means some pages must be folded.
"...if I don't first get ripped to death..." means we must rip some pages.
"...just the black incision... means we must cut pages along black lines on some pages.
"...the crinkled dame ..." means we must crinkle up some pages.
"each step was a grind ..." means we must grind up some pages.
"...theres room for some hot air ..." means we must put a blowdrier to some pages.

Yes, thanks ah2929. Certainly an interesting approach, and those weird line breaks in the p. 19 image have always made me think about folding the page.
thedawailey - I'm not sure I would win, but I don't think there is still a page attached in my book!

I've always taken the C Masquerade Hint as folding so my poor book is practically unreadable in some areas. lol! thisisjustin, I feel there are really instructions on how to fold these pages! I took the spine of the big key, which show the 50 from 50mm and it lines up to Harley's globe at 50 degrees. Also, the fact that the sea waves match up with the clouds definitely make me think this was meant to be folded.

The p. 51 match seemed a little more tenuous, but I certainly see what you're seeing. Hopefully you're on to something! I agree with you that the C Masquerade Hint means we need to fold pages. I have always believed that equated to the six pages you fold to ford the compass roses, but maybe there is more to it.

"That guy spent / A long night pulling lumber off the decks / To find gold, pearls, and jewels ... "

Let's not forget: "He shook me and he dropped me, and he cussed." Just like I do with this book.

I think I’m getting somewhere with this. imgbox.com/WqGORvsrIf you notice the smoke signals page. There’s a green leaf that lines uo with the edge in the reflection page. Then with the other image, the red string in the globe page lines up with the red leaf, the blue globe with the sky and then the brown top of the house goes further up. Seems too big a coincidence to not be intentional.

imgbox.com/jMC2vyxSMaking some more progress. If you notice above the dolphins neck it connects the orange to the orange of the globe.

There also seems to be some sort of blue globe forming in the circle.

imgbox.com/4xseim7PThat seems to fit next with the green and blue in the mountain and water transitioning smoothly and the green squiggle from the dolphin page moving into the lake page. Start to lose the circle a bit though.

Looks like The corner stars of the “FOrever heLD” indicate the FO LD, but I cannot make clear sense out of the folds.
Clear sense, to me, are things like PAEC FORTY SOUTH, CMASQUERADEINHT, and C DAME
