What a great idea. I remember trying to solve Masquerade in high school. Beautiful book, gorgeous illustrations, and a puzzle that was actually rather simple in hindsight. And an author that gave a hint when nobody found it. The perfect hunt!

And yes, the simplicity of the solution, not saying it was easy, but easy to explain, was key for its legacy..... |

I can't wait for this one to be released, but does anyone but me remember an earlier tribute to Masquerade called Menagerie (by Dillon)? It was pretty incredible, and you can still find it at tweleve.org.

It was an interesting reverse method....... instead of going out to the Border Frame, it was going into! Loved it..... Maybe I'll do a write up on it.... |
