Practically no details provided and I guess they are waiting until the person gets back home tomorrow.

The method was repeated words. Any time a word was repeated take the first letter of it. Start from the beginning of the chapter. Tri Slide Nampa Lions Hermes Badge!
Amazingly, there was a clue for this within the official chapter two clue. "...opinions, opinions with which some, mostly nice people agree, many not too nice disagree, and everyone else finds ever ever so entertaining."
OPINIONS, NICE, AND EVER= ONE.

I thought those exact examples were pointing to dual things in Chapter 2. Two... as in dual...as in Episode II Attack of the "Clones"... and a few more. lol I'm just glad someone got it without a clue.... or did they. There was a clue or something yesterday with repeated words, right?

he does repeat the phrase, "aint it the truth" yesterday. You can definitely argue it was, but he did claim that it was not a hint in the comments when someone asked him.
Also, the person who solved it bought the book two days before they solved it, so im guessing they didnt use a clue. I think a few people mightve noticed the "one" clue.

Yes, there were repeated words but it was a whole repeated phrase. I believe a few of the Twitter posts are also relevant to repeating words... hard to tell what's coincidence or an actual intended clue. That's what gets me lol...

I just cant believe he gave a clue for chapter 1 hidden within the clue for chapter 2. And since that is the case, it makes me believe there is a hint for chapter 3 in there too!!

I don't know what to look at as significant anymore since we were told clues would only be given after a certain amount of time.. yet now we seem to be getting little clue drops all over the place. I guess if we want a shot we just have to look at every little thing as relevant now.. unfortunately.

Im not sure there were any outside of the official one. Hard to know, though.

One of the recent threads here has a screenshot of a post where Dave gives an early clue within a tweet then admits he won't get away with that twice. It wasn't an official clue yet he gave it anyway. I don't want to speak to the others until the official solution has come out so I can be sure. Enough misinformation going around. Don't want to add to it.

Using that method how do you get rid of a few of the extra letters? Nampa is there but with an extra m and a h nammpha? Just curious I haven't looked to closely but I think there are more than one double word in those areas do you only use 1 per sentence? Also if they really did that ONE clue mixed in with the Comma's clue then I am super impressed.

bostonhikerUnfortunately, I think some of the letters were just white noise and had to be filtered it out. Im not a fan of it, but I believe badge and slide were both spelled out with no fluff. As for the hint within the hint, I agree that it was genius. Very clever way to subvert expectations.

That's really good to know. Thanks for continuing to post these. I often miss a lot of these little convos over on FB. Only reason I go on FB anymore is for the Hunt actually lol.
