Do you think the 3 puzzles leading up to the March hares puzzle are important ? I’m trying to figure out what 1 and 3 are.

I'm not sure, I was wondering the same thing. I noticed that some of the chapter is taken word for word from Alice in Wonderland, and other parts are new.
Perhaps we should focus on the new parts? Maybe there are clues to other texts we need to look at?

I have an idea on 1 and three. It lead me to a cypher in one of the poems, that spelled a number… but now I’m stuck… so I’m worried I’m on the wrong trail. I’d be happy to share in private chat.

Does anyone understand what the riddle is asking? I see directions, which, where and what to do. I guess I don't understand what exactly the riddle is.

I've found, what I thought, was multiple viable/clever solutions for the one and three, but only in one instance where the "which, where and what" could potentially (loosely) matter as a clue. I'm out of ideas at the moment. With each of my solutions there are sometimes possible variants that make zeroing in on an answer challenging. I was hoping to find an embedded solution similar to the other two riddles...but so far no luck.

Any new leads? Any interesting solutions that you didn't hear back on and you are willing to share?

Hi, is anyone still working on this and willing to share some advice? I’m new to armchair treasure hunting so any advice would be appreciated. I realize this hasn’t been solved yet, so it can be fairly general.
With regards to the riddle referencing “one and three”, what are the leading theories as to what they reference? I immediately thought of the three riddles within the story, but so far I haven’t been able to make that fit. I’m also considering specific words but haven’t been able to narrow down the search yet.
Thanks in advance

If you're still interested, pm me. I'm new to this too, maybe we can put our heads together.

I sent off what I thought was the correct solution to The March Hare's Riddle a couple of days ago. I'm assuming since I haven't heard back, I got it wrong but it all fit into the riddle so well, I'll be surprised to find out it wasn't right. I'm assuming David would reply as soon as he saw the correct response but doesn't have any obligation to do so does he?
Curious how long it would take to hear back if I did get it. I will probably wait a week and then post my "solve" here if I don't hear anything.

A response might depend on when the last time the author checked his e-mail and on volume of e-mails. I'd give it week or two. I've sent in several answers over time that I could justify to myself as a right answer, but no luck yet. I have a new idea that I've been toying with, but nothing panned out yet. Good luck!

I did notice that in the new riddles book the author request the answer be in the subject line and one per week, so perhaps he has many emails to look at with the new book out.
