Bragging rights only for this one, but something to keep your research juices flowing!
When I was doing Historical Hunt a few years ago, he had what he called 'sequential' internet hunts. They were a series of questions you had to answer. The answer to question #1 was a clue to question #2 etc. and if you followed the right path, you would get through them all. There were usually 10 - 20 questions, and research included sites like Chronicling America and Find A Grave, along with museum files, old documents and photos. If the answer to one question was, say, "Mary Jackson" and that was the clue to use with the next question, it might refer to a different Mary Jackson. If the answer was a year, say 1854, as a clue it might refer to that year or it could be a museum item number. You had to keep an open mind about what each answer meant as a clue.
In that spirit, I made up a sequential hunt of my own for you to try your hand. If you get stuck, feel free to ask for a hint. You can post questions here. Send your answer(s) to me in a PM. This is just for fun, so it might take some longer than others to get through.
