Has anyone else noticed a couple of thin white lines running across? One through the moon and one right above Email Full Solution. Do you think those are intentional?

I found the answer. The lines only appear in the pdf of all the hunts but not in the single page so they must be a glitch in the creation of the pdf.

And FWIW, and this just a guess on my part, the 2 wrong items might be the stamps (while they have a utility, they are not in themselves puzzle pieces) and the calendars (again they may serve as a nudge, they may not really function as a puzzle piece). My new hunch is that the stamps are filler, the calendars are not. Mainly because the calendars have some inconsistent capitalization. Rethinking it, after the creator's response, I would agree with you, calendars are in.

The creators of #1 The Lost Hopping Cane, and #4 The Desk, are both giving hints on May 1st. I will give one on that day as well. Let's all have some fun!

Oh Good! I'm looking forward to the clue. We had a little moment (not quite an aha moment, more of a hold-on moment) the other day and think we might be on to something??....or it could just be incidental fumbling on our part (more likely). If she used a small cipher, then I would be more encouraged. Also, I wonder if she has used something like the LIGHT OF EQUINOX clue in Masquerade to affirm some organization, I keep looking to the pyramid numbers for that but it may be something different for which the face cards might be the best candidate. Come on......May 1st already!!!!!

Sounds like you’ve got more aha moments than me. The only thing I feel I’ve figured out for sure are the border letters. Finally got that one. ....I think.
Ok, more deduction. Of my list of seven, Beth said two were incorrect. Of your list of calendars and stamps, Beth said one was incorrect.
So that means one is incorrect in this list: Missions Border letters Front of cards Number pyramid Postcards
Beth has already said the fronts of cards are part of the puzzle and the postcard fits in more than one way.
I’m hoping the missions are the fillers because I’ve been going crazy trying to find a connection. Why Apollo 8, 13, and 14 (long live oxfords} but not 9, 10, 11, or 12? Maybe they’re just space-themed filler.

It's possible, but beside the missions, she also layered in the postcard acrostic clue, one of the word border puzzles, and the hunt title itself, all seem to imply a space theme. I'm going with the playing cards...I could be wrong, but I think they are a nudge toward organization and not one of the 7 pieces.

I think when she said the playing cards were part of the puzzle, it was in reference to the alchemy cards, which are not. The cards are part of the puzzle, but may not be part of the 7 pieces?? But we can't find the common thread on the missions either.

But we can't find the common thread on the missions either. That could be. Quite possible the cards are part of the puzzle but not one of the seven main pieces. Also note that she didn’t say the alchemy cards aren’t part of the puzzle. She just said the backs of cards. And she went even further by specifically saying the skulls with a circled A are backs of cards that aren’t. Are there other card backs that are? For example is the woman throwing a punch a card back? Or the Extra?

As far as I can tell, all cards belong to the same set, so only one card back.

**IF** I were to give a clue (I am not promising anything), what would you like it to be about? Is there a certain part of the puzzle you have a question about? Are you stuck on something in particular? Or...Do you feel it is too early for a clue? Post your thoughts and I will think about giving a clue...or not...A lot depends on your comments. I hope you are having fun with all the hunts. Thanks for playing! Thanks for donating! We have all come together for great causes. Looking forward to a clue! I think for me I would love to narrow down the "what" - I know there are 7 pieces (not a location), do they lead to a sentence? a word? Just my thoughts. But honestly I'll take anything I can get, lol

So knowing now that these are real cards, three of them look out of place to me: the punching lady, Extra, and the bird lady between the ace of hearts and the ace of clubs. Wonder what that means.

The bird lady is the Jack of Diamonds, but the fact that the suit is covered up makes me think it is either filler or there is a theme to the cards that go with the other pieces that will all come together...voodoo perhaps, mardi gras?
