Could anyone be so inclined to tell me how many ciphers/codes they have on this one? I just realized that I had missed an easy one (literally the second easiest one to figure out bc I didn't see the dots) - I printed it out and it's not very vivid - I think my ink is low :/ I've since compared and double checked against the pdf page, but was hoping for a second set of eyes to verify that I'm not overlooking anything. Thanks! If you've solved any of the codes, you've probably identified the general category. You should be able to find one code for every example of that category, plus a bonus code in the bottom right hand corner, plus a Morse code message on the bottom of the page. In addition to these, there's a group of upside down numbers on the bottom left of the picture, a 4x4 grid on the bottom right of the picture (with a mysterious LX59 nearby), and 27 letters floating in the sky. There may well be more codes than these, but these are the only ones that I think are meant to be seen at first glance. Good luck! Thanks! I have all of those, which is how I knew I was missing at least one to begin with and it was right there in front of me. I counted 21 (counting the blue, navy, and yellow as separate but treating red as a clue instead of code).

Happy June, everyone.
Probably like everyone else out there, we've tried every method we can think of to decode the letters in the sky. Hoping to ask Jenny a general question today:
Without saying anything specific about any possible methods, we were wondering if you would consider it fair for multiple / layered ciphers to be required (e.g. Atbash all the letters, then do a Vigenere with the right keyword). Hope it's okay to ask this publicly, since multi-step codes can be nearly impossible to crack if there's not a clear set of clues to follow (which there may be, of course, and we've just missed them so far).
Thanks for any reassurance or clarification you can offer!

Does anyone know what the yellow letters spell? Emit? Item? Mite? ...Time?

The method to use and how is hinted to within the hunt........ it is NOT layered....

Your reply above is much appreciated. This definitely helps us to continue enjoying the hunt (which we were already very much enjoying). Thank you!

Just wondering what people think....do you think all of the letters in the sky need to be used? Or just some and the rest are decoys?
I'm leaning towards all of them just because to solve it we need to send her both the master riddle and the answer to it. To me that implies a sentence or phrase as the master riddle which would take a lot of letters.

Anyone get anything new from the hint? Seems like the clock leans towards EMIT/TIME being "time"... So maybe something needs to be done clockwise?? I have a good idea what the i/u in the boxes means. But it doesn't help.

Looks like u and i are equally stumped. We might need a clue for the clue. Jenny, if the contest remains unsolved, any plans for when Clue #2 might be revealed? Thanks, and thanks for the first clue!

With this recent clue I really thought I'd have a correct submission within hours......... it is all there. I'm not sure what clue to give that wouldn't give it all away.... But, yes, if it remains unsolved, I will give another clue on 9/22 or before.

Or do they more give you a nudge/direction? I have solved all but the LX and the #grid - I have about 2-3 possibilities on the grid that kinda make sense to me but none that stand out as obvious or help me in any way - I thought I made something out of the LX, but I think I just forced it into something that went with the theme, lol.

I think there are only a couple of teams still actively working on this puzzle. We all seem to have gone down similar paths and are equally stuck. The "u" has me completely stumped. There are not really any U's in the puzzle. So does it reference a word beginning with "u"? Upside Down, underline?? Or is it an "n" that is upside down? Or does "i" somehow become "n"? Is it a hint to a cipher method? There are a ton of "i"s in the puzzle, so I could do something with that. Not that it does me much good... And the alarm clock... Is that telling us to wake the heck up and solve the thing?? Or does it mean "time" plays a role... I've tried to make the thing some sort of giant clock... with no success. Solstice/Equinox seems to be a theme. All of the other ciphers/solves in the puzzle were simple once figured out. So I feel everyone is over-complicating the solution. But maybe not... WHAT ARE WE ALL MISSING!!! ?
