Thank you Jenny for posting this!
I will be busy this morning, so I will respond to any email submissions after about 1pm this afternoon. If you have the answer, send your email and I will send out the next puzzle in the order I receive the answers.
I'll have my phone, so I will still be able to answer questions or PMs here on the forum.
Happy hunting and good luck!

I have an update for any non-US-based treasure-hunters:
I do have a separate, different, prize for any non-US hunters. For this prize, the hunt is completely armchair. Just send me the location of the proxy to win the prize - no BOTG required. This prize will be awarded to the first non-US hunter to submit the correct answer.
If you are a non-US hunter, this is an armchair hunt. Do not send someone to retrieve the proxy.
This non-US prize will be available only as long as the hunt remains open. Once the proxy has been found and retrieved, the hunt will be over. If I have not received a solution from a non-US hunter by then, this prize will be withdrawn and used in a future hunt.
This update does not affect the US, boots-on-the-ground hunt in any way. The stated rules still apply for any US-based hunters and the hunt will remain open until the proxy item has been found.
I can't send the original prize overseas, but wanted to be able to include non-US residents in the hunt. I am trying different options to do this, and if this works out I will continue to offer alternate prizes to non-US treasure hunters.
Good luck everyone!
Let me know if you have any questions about this update.

Feel free to submit your solution to this part of the puzzle to me via PM here on MW. Just include your email address so I can send you the riddle to the location of the proxy item.
The hunt remains unsolved, so there is still time to get in on winning a great prize :-)
Happy hunting and good luck!

Someone asked in a PM whether you need information from the original hunt to solve the hint. The answer is no. The hint stands alone and can be solved with just the information given in the hint.
I hope this helps

And just to be clear, the answer to this part of the puzzle is what the prize for the hunt is. Once the proxy is found, I will send the prize out to the winner.
Good luck!

I'm ready for another clue to this first part of the hunt.
Quite a few people have now received the clues to part two, the directions to the buried proxy item. These treasure hunters have a head start on finding the proxy, but it remains safely buried so there is still time to get in on the hunt.
This is a free hunt and the prize has a value of about $50. The buried proxy item is kind of cool, too!
Here is the next hint to the first part of the hunt:
pg. 1237 is not a page
Next week, I will post a clue to part 2, so get in on the hunt today! It's not too late :-)
Good luck!

Here is the first hint for those who have the second part of the hunt. This hint is to the first line of the second riddle: I am not in the sky My oldest sibling was born in NJ We can now be found in 34 states I am not a statue, a business or a building, but I was built Follow me and I will lead you to your prize
There is still time to get in on this hunt. For those of you who have not yet solved the first riddle, here is a final clue:
One city, one sacrifice, one tomb
Feel free to ask me questions - I will answer what I can without giving too much away!
Good luck everyone!

I received a question about the second riddle and will answer it here.
For clarification, line two of the second riddle should begin with "Then,". It is not part of the first line.
