The book contains 11 riddles- consisting of text and image. Also shown is an owl face and a color 'Wavelength' number. It has been discovered the wavelengths, as well as solving Riddle B, reorder the 10 Riddles that display the numbered wavelengths. There is also the title. I've not seen this in any other forums for this treasure hunt so...
Are the order of the notes in the picture relevant? Read from top to bottom they read B, A, G, F, E, D, C
Changing this to French scale becomes si, la, sol, fa, mi, re, do.
Reversing this, as is the theme for this particular puzzle, gives oderimaflosalis.
Oderima flosalis is a name for an oil made up of three components of lavender. As herbs go you can't get more French than lavender.
Any ideas on how this information can be used in the following clues would be greatly appreciated.
