I never heard of that show. Once I saw the SETCC I thought it had to do with computer programming.
Good ideas. You just never know what a hunt will be based on.
Thanks for making a hunt for our Tribute Bill. We appreciate your participation.
Congratulations to the winner.

Wow! Congrats, that win was well-earned.
I thought the height difference of the clocks was important: one starting at the 4th line from the top and one at the second.
I thought the handle of the typewriter was pointing at 4.2 and the long line of the globe was pointing at 4.4.
I also thought Setcc referred to a computer term, Set Byte on Condition. So I thought the luggage tag meant, Set the number 6 to 1 if the number 5 is bold on that row. Eventually it would have given binary codes that spelled something out.
So, what did "look very closely" refer to?

So, what did "look very closely" refer to? I was afraid that folks might find the GPS DMS coordinates but only look at the location "zoomed out" and miss that it pointed to a very small, very specific house. For example, in the 2nd google maps screen grab shown in the solutions doc, the house doesn't exactly "jump out" at you. But if you zoom in as shown in the first screen grab in the doc, it's clear that it's pointing to a house and that house is labeled as "Taskmaster House." I'd be curious to hear how many folks got the GPS location and the Taskmaster house (especially after Clue #1). I'd also be curious to hear Beefaghetti's full path to the solution!

I thought the height difference of the clocks was important: one starting at the 4th line from the top and one at the second. I tried to place the clocks a bit "North" and "West" in the image to provide a small hint towards which coordinates should be used in which direction. The 1:00 and 2:00 also tried to hint to use the 1:00 clock for the first DMS set and the 2:00 clock for the second DMS set.

I'll write up my meandering tale of sleuthing soon.
For the Taskmaster House, I started by converting the degrees, minutes and seconds to decimal lat-long and plugged them into Google Maps. After finding a UK industrial area with nothing significant, I tried changing the longitude to negative and ended up on the Taskmaster House. I'd never seen Taskmaster (which I can't believe I've never even heard of!), so I looked it up and went from there.

That's what I figured the 1 and 2 were for, and the position of the clocks made sense to me after I found the Taskmaster House.
