I have received two correct answers to this Clue hunt, but am still waiting for the third before announcing the winners, so there is still time to claim that cool vintage travel-size Clue game!
Here are some hints to help you if you are stuck:
There were 8 murderers, 2 were female, 6 were male. There were 12 victims, 7 were male, 5 were female. 5 victims were spouses, 2 were lovers. The most victims at one time was 2, which occurred twice. One murderer killed 3 people in 2 states over a period of more than 25 years. One murderer killed 4 people in 2 states over a period of less than 5 years. 3 murderers together killed one person. One murderer went by 2 names. 4 people were named John, 2 victims and 2 murderers. Not all murders took place in the US. One murderer always used poison, but never the same kind. The first murder on the list was a double murder. The last murder on the list was the third for this murderer.
The clues on each image will help you verify the names of the people involved. I could not find images for 3 people, but their silhouettes show gender and age.
...and don't let those sweet faces deceive you!
Have fun and good luck!

I still have only two correct answers, so here are two more clues to the puzzle:
1. What do you call a 3rd floor (or 2nd, or 4th, or more...) apartment where there is no elevator? 2. What are noisy dogs doing?
If anyone is stuck on a particular person or combination, send me a message here on Mysterious writings and I'll see if I can add a clue.
Good luck!
