Welcome to my new hunt, American Woman! There will be three parts to this hunt and I will post instructions as each part is solved. Please send your answer to me via private message here on Mysterious Writings and put "Part I" in the subject line. There is one prize for Part I, but there will be many more opportunities to win in Parts II & III. Winners must have a US address, but an alternative prize is available to those outside the US. Feel free to contact me with any questions, comments, if you feel there is an error, or if you need clarification.
And, as always, have fun!

Hmmm. American Woman and you want us to Guess Who? No Guessing Who, LOL! Great connection, but the answer is clearly spelled out once you solve the puzzle :-)
Good luck!

I notice that the sixth line starts 6920, while the seventh line starts 6820. Also, how can this be a woman's name without being a code of some sort? Is she a computer?

I notice that the sixth line starts 6920, while the seventh line starts 6820. Also, how can this be a woman's name without being a code of some sort? Is she a computer? Solving this step is not a code or her name. It's a list, as my hint said. But once you solve the list, there is a second step which will give you her name. Good luck!

American Woman, Part I, Hint #2:
Each of these numbers, which are from a very long list, will lead you to the answer to each one.
Find the list and you will find the names you are looking for.
Once you have the list of names, there is one more step to find the name I am looking for :-)
Good luck!

The "numbers" being split into individual cells really throws me. Any list of numbers is going to contain a "1", "2", "3" etc. If we're supposed to read across the rows then that'll create a set of large numbers (that don't turn up anything on google). Maybe you treat columns as a large numbers? That also doesn't turn anything up on google.
Searches for "long lists" doesn't reveal anything interesting.
I don't see these strings of digits with "pi" or anything.
I'm out of ideas and haven't even gotten out of the gate.

American Woman Part I, Hint #3:
The name I am looking for is not a famous person - and to the best of my knowledge, never was.

I received a question for clarification and this is the answer to that question:
The hint stating 'not a code or cipher' applies only to the first step of Part I.
If you have solved that step, a cipher might apply to the second step.
Good luck!
