Official Post from the Authors --- Hello Leveret Treasure Hunters! We are pleased to announce that the GRASSHOPPER TOKEN was claimed today, on JULY 3rd, 2022, and the associated prizes have been claimed! It was a team effort between Team Palmford and SeanL81! Congratulations! Also as per the rules on pages 92 and 93 of the book, within 28 days following the token discovery, any other participant who visits the site where the GRASSHOPPER TOKEN was hidden and sends a photograph to this email address, documenting themselves at that exact spot, will be sent a digital copy of the token and its markings. On JULY 31st (28 days after the token location was found), a digital copy of the token and its markings will be released to all participants. Pic of Junior Finders with the token in hand:  |

Thanks everyone! Huge thanks goes to Team Palmford for the solve - we were just the BOTG finders. Kids are beyond excited we got to be part of this fun hunt.  I also want to add, I'm incredibly impressed with how well clued everything about this hunt is. There was no ambiguity in finding the token, as everything precisely confirmed the location. I'm greatly impressed at the caliber of the detail that went into designing this. |

We (ddp, crawfocl, and all of Team Palmford) want to echo what SeanL81 said about the quality of the hunt. We and our kids have been having a blast reading and rereading the story and staring at the artwork. The puzzles have been fun and well designed (yet maddeningly difficult - we are still marveling at the detail in Ant and Snail!), and the artwork and jewelry are exquisite and well worth braving the spiders and poison ivy to go BOTG to hunt for the tokens. Thank you to Beth and Bill for creating the hunt and managing it so well.
We have especially enjoyed getting to know the other members of this supportive and kind community. It is a big country, and the tokens could be anywhere, so even though we are all solving from our armchairs, there are able boots across the country ready to get on the ground given the opportunity. We look forward to having the chance to meet more armchair and boot owners!

SeanL81...How did you like that token's sneaky hiding spot? We weren't sure how sneaky to expect it, but the clues in the book were easy to follow and the kids found it without much trouble. |

Team BugCatchers went BOTG today and correctly found the location of the GRASSHOPPER token. They have been given a digital copy of that token.
This also makes Team BugCatchers the first team to know the locations of all 17 tokens and have physical or digital copies of all 17 tokens!! Congratulations!!

The Debugging Ferrets have made a correct armchair submission for the GRASSHOPPER token. The team has been given a digital copy of that token. Congratulations!
