The "X Marks The Spot" podcast is a 9 episode podcast discussing TTOTC. The final episode came out today, and the end of the episode announces a new treasure hunt for $50,000. Full details are here: www.xmtspodcast.comand you should listen to the podcast (especially the end of the final episode) to learn more. I have no affiliation at all with the hunt or podcast. I just came across it and thought the community would be interested in it.

Both on android and iPad. The Rules state that contest started with release of first podcast, and that there is a list of winners, but does not state what those prizes were. Also mentioned is the $50,000 grand prize. Do we need to go through all the podcasts to be eligible for playing for the grand prize?

Do we need to go through all the podcasts to be eligible for playing for the grand prize? The final episode of the podcast seems to imply that there are clues spread throughout the nine episodes. But again, I'm just sharing what I thought I heard: I know nothing for sure. I listened on Spotify and had no trouble hearing all nine episodes.

Same as Astree, I can't get the podcast to play in any browser. What's the gist of the hunt? Do they even tell you how many distinct puzzle answers are needed?

Thank you, r3trob1rd. I can see all the podcasts on youtube. The section you pointed to, well done, and intriguing. Plenty to consider (re “Condor” is that an actual historical figure or made up for the puzzle?)

I noticed in the official contest rules the stipulation that says "Limit one (1) entry per per person during the Contest Period." I'm not sure if this is a typo that was meant to say "one entry per day per person" or if this means you really have only one opportunity to submit an answer. So far I haven't found any clarification on this.

One obvious clue could be the date of Kobe Bryant’s death. In the podcast it is mentioned as January 6, but in reality it was January 26. Could 20 be a clue?
