as I wrote in the launch post , "This could be a more challenging puzzle. Learn from prior Retro13 puzzles and be open-minded in making connections and trying new things to follow the journey connecting the compass, path and coin." At the end you will find a precise location. www.retro13.com/the-translator/

No suffering required. Just like prior puzzles, there aren't a lot of steps so I don't want to give out clues to quickly.

Could be wrong but think I have everything except for the last two lines of the deciphered text.

I see continued effort and new players making attempts. No correct solutions submitted yet but many of you are in the correct state.

Hit a brick wall at step 9, has me reeling. Going back to step 7 and thinking again, less of Clark.

I see continued effort and new players making attempts. No correct solutions submitted yet but many of you are in the correct state. State seems easy enough, but maybe I'm just a goon. How precise is a precise location? Does my location have a name, or is there an x on the ground with gps coordinates? I have trouble knowing how to enter the answer when a specific location could be named many ways. The corner of First and Third could be the corner of Third and First. Just some sort of clarity would be helpful. I'm usually in the neighborhood, but never know which house I'm looking for. Thanks

Hey Gill. It could be like ///toast.over.cooked. Dang!, wrong country! (now I want some toast. That was tasty. Now I need to glean my teeth.)

g17714mIf you know the state, know it's coastal, just print it off and throw a dart at it. As good a chance as any.

I ran out of darts. Trying to think on it before my brain seizes up.

@retro
Do we have to *build* that specific location from the clues?
(not expecting an answer, but worth a shot)

Based on progress and guesses I can see I don't believe the community needs a hint. Someone or some group will figure this out before too long.

So far this one feels the most like searching for a needle in a haystack.
