On page 35, Nelson states that he was the, "great great great grandson of The Camel".
Does anyone have any idea of who "The Camel" could be?

I found something for the 1,022. What I found has nothing in common with The Camel, but since I don't know what the Camel is, I can't be sure that there isn't some type of relationship.
Aatree, it appears you understand who The Camel is. Do you care to elaborate or give a hint?

Hinds, The Camel

non hint - "I'd walk a mile for a Camel"
Back to the topic, but a different angle(s) - 1022, and when (what chapter) do the stack of clues start appearing (not "A Stack of Clues") chapter. Nels explained how to find the 1022 ancestors, how many ancestors to Hinds ?

Hinds, The Camel I would think normally the name would be Hinds the Camel without "the" being capitalized in the name. This leads me to believe the comma was added in order to justify capitalizing "The." And, this leads me to believe the capital letters in Hinds, The Camel are important. Maybe part of an anagram? I'm only half-kidding when I say I'm looking for an anagram that says to disregard all odd or even-numbered pages

I'm sure others have seen this anagram, but I haven't seen it posted. Hinds, The Camel = The child's name = Judy Marie. Any thoughts?

Stradavari: that's excellent! The whole Hinds the Camel story was clearly baloney and thus a strong candidate for a clue. Your anagram candidate is the best I've seen.

Yes, that's good work. So a weak connected clue would be, ? Her job sounds fishey to me, Balance Specialist, yep, fishey. Never heard of a job with that name. It's something New to me. Ride with cops and do DUI test, lol?

The main clue I took away connected to HOT SPRINGS via methodology (in a similar way that Forrest puts methodology hints in his book). Hinds, The Camel Looking at the hind parts of the phrase “tHE camEL” gives HEEL. see number 3 www.dictionary.com/browse/heel?s=teither hind foot or hoof of some animals, as the horse i was hinting in the previous post, but didnt want to give the whole piece
