So Cypher in the book but anything you look up online the spelling is usually "Cipher"
I wonder the bad thoughts and a string cypher maybe we need to look into how to construct a RAP to decode the Hoddady tsktsk thing.
Just putting out something since all the forums seem slow lately.

Cipher is correct, though it is frequently misspelled with a Y. In a book with admitted red herrings, hard to differentiate a spelling mistake from something deliberate.

Book reads "cypher" in one place, but "decipher" in another place.

"Cypher" is the British spelling. I believe it is done on purpose, as a hint ( "paraliminal" ).
