yes the maths is doable and provides at least three clues.

It appears to be only part of an answer. Where's the other half located?

The coefficients give two clues. The answers are another clue. The variable letters are another clue I haven’t found all the answers yet.

Thinking about these math problems...this is the one thing I have no sense of at all, whatsoever, no matter how I try to look at it. Probably because I never did well in algebra class. I've had some ahhah moments on other parts of the puzzle, but I have a feeling I should probably figure this out before I can do anything more at the stage I'm at. The math just says to me, "this is a huge problem." I'm pretty sure it's a lot simpler than I think. This doesn't really require doing algebra...at least that's what I'm thinking...at least I hope not. But it's saying something I'm not seeing yet!

There are TWO clues in the coefficients? I thought I had that part figured out. I’m further behind than I realized…

Can someone please explain which ones are the "coefficients"?

Post by engr101 on Mar 29, 2018 5:50:13 GMT 5
I used matrix math to find the answer and even though some of the numbers in the artwork were difficult to decipher I was able to find a solution. The first set in brackets are the variables [M, A, P], the second set are all coefficients and the last set are constants. The solution I interpreted to be longitude (DMS), but that could be a wrong assumption. If my assumption is correct where's latitude?

Ok, just wondering cause I had solved most of the numbers, but I didn't have to use any math? Can someone who has also got the solve without using math, please pm me to compare?

I didn’t use any math to get the clue I got from this. But, I’m trying to figure out if there is a possibility that there’s is more I have to do that involves math.

Thanks engr101 for posting that.
Now finally I think I do get the clue without the math! What helped me was to look at the actual PDF on the computer screen, because it's much clearer than my printed copy. I magnified it a bit too. I can see how the author really made it so that we could tell in a simple way what the numbers are without doing the math. The clue I get is something almost opposite from doing math.
Two of the coefficients I see are different than the ones you have, engr101. I wonder what would come out with the Matrix Math tool if those were used whether the result would mean anything or not?

I could certainly use a good hint for this math puzzle. I have the easy part of it, but have no idea what to do with what I know.
