Thank you for your kind reply. I thought the question was about the split. Of course we should not enter ()- within the key tester. So is the common agreement that we're looking for 3 digits for stanza 3 3 digits for stanza 4 4 digits for stanza 5 ?

So is the common agreement that we're looking for 3 digits for stanza 3 3 digits for stanza 4 4 digits for stanza 5 ? I would say yes that is the common agreement. BUT....it is not for certain. Stanza 4, as I see it, could be 1 thru 4 digits depending on how you take the +2 clue. Are you adding 2 to the value of your number? Or are you adding another digit of 2 to the end of your number.

Hi everyone, new to this activity and have been looking at this hunt for a week or so now. With that said, after finding the image online from the screenshot clue, I noticed that Astride (basically straddling) the bowling alley are two insurance companies. Treasure Island and South Pasadena Insurance Co. I googled them and can't find them as legitimate companies anywhere (I could have missed them). Both of them have the area code 855, which is not a known area code in the US but used in toll free numbers. Also, both companies are not placed on buildings but in a park and on the road.
Since I have had a hard time putting the 10 digits together with the general consensus of the forum, I have nterpreted the stanza as:
The insurance companies are Astride the bowling alley with the Treasure Island Insurance Co on its own. The other insurance company, South Pasadena Car Insurance is on the other side of the alley and when you go to street view, there is a 49 spray painted in a manhole cover with an X through it.
Could this mean 49 (plus 2) so 492?
Can any of the 7 who have solved this throw us a hint?

Re-read the posts from the past couple of weeks. They contain all the pieces; you just need to put them together.

"beside a bird that's rarely thrown"
translates to...
"beside turkey"
And, what's beside "turkey" depends on how you are using the word. So, if you are strictly speaking of words, the word "bowling" can be beside turkey. And that translates to...
"turkey bowling"
I'm not sure if I ever saw that mentioned.

Not following how the word 'bowling' is beside 'turkey.' I've never heard of 'turkey bowling.'

Okay, stanza 3 is probably Dearborn, Michigan. And the picture posted is almost definitely Ten Pin Lanes on Treasure Island, Florida. But how do you get from Michigan to Florida *without* the picture? As we were supposed to do before Lukas posted the pix??

Personally, I think it would be a matter of finding a bowling alley near "treasure" something. Also stanza ? says "ten cuts, ten pins, and turn." So you could google Ten Pins Bowling along with Treasure and find it. But I agree, it's almost impossible without the picture, which is why it's been 10 months of nobody finding Key 1 until he posted the picture.
