I posted the rotary phone picture. There is one point of error that I failed to consider when originally posting. At this moment, I still personally believe that KEY 1 is a phone number, but that doesn't make me right until I have a KEY that works. Here is the error about my rotary phone picture:
Lukas is young (as compared to me) and is used to being able to make a phone call by tapping a 10 digit number onto a modern smartphone keypad. He may or may not know what I'm about to say, but in the day the we used rotary phones in the U.S.A, you either dialed a 7 digit local number, or had to dial an 11 digit long distance phone number because you had to add a 1 before dialing the 3 digit area code. There was no 10 digit number... local 7 digit or 11 digit long distance.
Having said all of that, I still believe we are looking for a phone number. I personally would love to resolve whether or not 313 is the correct answer for Stanza 3.

So that brings me back to my original thought .why not ask if the answer to stanza 3 is a Michigan area code? If it is that would be another conformation i think of format as it really appears we need 4 numbers for stanza 5 and if its 3 for stanza 3 that only leaves 3 for stanza 4. Also i dont see the point of asking specifically about 313 while yes it makes or breaks 313 it would only aid in format confirmation if 313 is correct. As i mentioned earlier if it is any Michigan area code (313 included) that would take us to less than a dozen possibilities one of wich we would know is 100% correct. Or on the flip side would eliminate Michigan all together.

Or on the flip side would eliminate Michigan all together. BUT, what does that answer? that's a serious question. What if it is an area code but needs further manipulation. What if it is an area code that no one has considered or posted about? What if it is an area code in Michigan that no one has posted or considered? What if its an area code that needs no manipulation that we haven't even considered yet? The problem as I see it with all the questions we have asked Lukas so far is that although they might confirm ideas or theories we actually get nothing that we can confidently progress with. I would be tempted to go the whole hog and simply ask is 313 the answer to stanza 3? and be done with it. If the answer was NO next month I would ask are the answers to the stanzas manipulated in any way in order to generate the first key?Yes we run the risk of wasting a question if the answer is not that particular area code or that it doesn't need to be manipulated in some way, but I see no other way of getting a definitive answer YES/NO with out potentially relying on using two monthly questions. At this point I am open to any idea that brings progress. I even spent an entire afternoon chasing down locations in the USA the are related to DEER or FAWN and unfortunately SUSB assertion that his location DEER LAKE in Wisconsin could be an alternative doesnt hold unless you want to consider at least 15 other alternatives and I haven't even finished. That's not to say SUSB is wrong, but we simply cant progress if there are dozens of potential answers.

It's almost as if we have to approach the Q&A as a multi-month question...i.e. a combination of multiple months' answers give us the exact info we're looking for. For example, month one = "Is key #1 an area code?"; month two (if answer to month one is "yes") = "Is key #1 an area code in Michigan?", etc. Maybe a coordinated approach like this would get us valuable information faster...even though it may take a few months?

Hi I’m more of a watcher on this thread as I think this hunt is mostly over my head. But I supported on patreon and won the right to ask a question this month. I haven’t read through this exact thread in a bit and will do so today. But I want to help the group, what are the questions we need to know to move forward

But I want to help the group, what are the questions we need to know to move forward ....just my thoughts...i think either asking if stanza 3 is a Michigan area code or if the 4566 is the complete solve for stanza 5 would be the most helpful based on where we are now. Just my 2 cents.

Hi all! I still like the thought of narrowing down stanza 3 to a Michigan area code. To even go further, my vote would be to just outright ask if "the answer to stanza 3 = 313".

I agree with asking if 313 is the answer to the first part of the first key. Asking if it’s a Michigan area code would Achieve the same thing too.

It would be nice to ask a question that gets us more help with stanzas 4 or 5. If stanza 3 is confirmed to be 313 or not, most are still stuck trying to come up with any solid possibilities (like how 313 is pretty solid) for stanzas 4 & 5.

I would also love some clarification on stanza four! I have some decent guesses for stanzas three and five, but four has me stumped and nothing seems to fit just right. A good option could be, “Does ‘a bird that’s rarely thrown’ refer to the country of Turkey?” I feel that would really help narrow things down.
No matter what question is picked, it will be great to have another hint! So thank you in advance!

I agree with luna but i would personally narrow it down a bit more:
Does ‘a bird that’s rarely thrown’ refer to ‘turkey?’
Then if the answer is yes, a second question for somebody else in the future would have to narrow it down to the country. The problem with asking if it is the country of turkey with this question is that if the answer is no, you don’t know if it is turkey as a non country as opposed to eagle or something else.
