I'm not a Facebook user and see that's where this hunt has activity. Is there anyone on the MW forums wanting to collaborate on this one?
Something I saw on the Parameters image to see if anyone is interested...
First Rhode Island was missing. Turns out the game creator just messed up based on a post on Facebook.
Then the compass rose looks normal and the image of a Lilac which is the state bush of NY and the state flower of New Hampshire.
The thing with the compass is that I think there might be a "rose" on every page.

I am working on it. I would love to see discussions moved here to MW. Facebook does not offer an organized way to lead discussions. It would be great if we could set up threads here according to the different pages.

I'm working on it; and, I'm open to discussion. I agree FB page isn't very organized and all over the place with some of the "possible solves".

Im Just getting started on this one. Haven't started actually solving yet, just going through the images and making notes based on first impressions.

jbutterflie,
When I hit "Reply" (on the right), not "Quick Reply" (on the left), I get a set of buttons along the top, kind of like Word documents, and including a button to add an image.

Way too many pics to post them all here. I’ll have to organize them in a google folder. I did post them into the fb page

Anyone have an update on this hunt? I don't follow facebook so not sure if people are getting close or if there is a bunch of quiet while people are stuck?

I was working on Parish, but made very little progress. I have taken a break.
I am disappointed in there being French translations. I have translated everything, but in some cases, the wording could go one way or another. One translation may have the same final meaning, but is worded differently. If we are to do a word count or a letter count from our translation, then it is almost impossible to know what to use. If your translation is one word off than what the author intended, your entire decoding process will be incorrect.
There is a lot of information scattered about the pages of Parish. It is like information overload!
I think it would be great if we knew where to begin.
As for Facebook, it does not have a good format for discussions. There is no real way to organize topics. There are more posts on the Parish facebook site, but they are hard to follow, and a lot are off topic.

As the author of Parish I will say this:
This hunt was designed to take a while. This hunt was designed with many different peoples taken into consideration, which worked.. the teams tackling it from France are loving it. This hunt tells you where to begin and from that initial solve it leads you to an 5 foot area of the earth with a clearly designated proxy item. I see a few people getting discouraged. I see a few people claiming this hunt is “busy”, “too many back and forths”. My thoughts: you’re right , it’s tough. The prize is worth it and the measures put in place to increase the difficulty are there to keep you on your toes. The language barrier should not be a problem if you have a basic grasp of French and or access to google translate. Moral of the story is this: parish is 100% solveable as have been all of my previous hunts. I Have just learned my lesson with people solving them too quickly. Put in the brain power. Put in the creative angles and you can solve parish. I have already had an individual message me the correct location down to about 15 feet. You must go into the world and get it, I will not confirm you are correct. As far as Facebook as a platform for discussion... if you want to talk about it on MW instead then do it. All of the decisions are in y’all’s hands now. All I have done is create an opportunity for you to possibly win something great for using your brain and your heart. How you choose to do that is up to you

Don't get me wrong... I like Parish. There are some things that I think are making it difficult for me, such as the many different pages and not being sure if you need to use the French as a cipher. I am just taking a break from this one for now.
And I do wish some of the people who are discussing this hunt in facebook would come here to MW. It is just too unorganized to follow a thread of comments on facebook.
