I've seen 4 (possibly six) answers which have gone along with my train of thought. But none which are in the same specific ballpark of thinking... Although the clue about a cousin owning a store in New York has thrown a big wrench at that! 🤔

I've seen 4 (possibly six) answers which have gone along with my train of thought. But none which are in the same specific ballpark of thinking... Although the clue about a cousin owning a store in New York has thrown a big wrench at that! 🤔 You can ignore the cousin for now. It is a bit of a rabbit hole and will not help in finding the answer, but is something you may discover once you have the right answer.
Good luck, and I look forward to seeing where this leads people. What strange coincidences did I unwittingly create?
There are so many other mysteries still to unravel, among them: 1850 is a birthplace?
Discovered in Columbia?
And what are those numbers at the bottom of the page?

If anyone has ideas they have considered, please send them in to me, even if you know they are wrong. I'll be able to see where people are going with this so far and it can help me design my hints for tomorrow.
Unless of course, someone has figured it out, then be sure to send in your answer to claim your prize, which is growing every day!
And remember, I answer questions.

Thank you to everyone who has sent me their ideas and rabbit holes. A few ideas are getting out of that box and a few are dancing around the solution - just out of reach!
Two points came up in these messages that I want to clarify.
1. The hint I posted earlier said I was born in a boom town. This is not a boomtown or a Boom Town. 2. 1850 is a birth place, not a birth date.
It's the details that will lead you down those rabbit holes!
Thanks again and I'll make up a list of all your ideas and post them tomorrow so you can see where people are going with this.
Good luck and more hints are coming tomorrow!
And the prize grows...

Update:
I received many names and some general categories last night after I asked for current thoughts. I am just posting specific names, leaving the more general categories to the people who are exploring them. Definitely outside of the box now, which is good. I encourage you to keep digging - I feel this will be solved soon!
Here are the names mentioned in yesterday's messages: Sharon Ann Lane - American Army nurse in Viet Nam, killed in 1969 by a rocket attack on her hospital, age 25. Mahalia Jackson - American gospel singer (Columbia Records), died 1972 after surgery, age 60. Trigger the horse - died 1963, age 30. Molly the horse - Diane Oughton - American member of the 1960's radical group, the Weather Underground. Died when a bomb she was building exploded in 1970, age 28. The Hulk -comic book character Scrappy Doo - comic book character Lassie - TV and movie dog(s). Georgette Louise Meyer (aka Dickey Chapelle), American photojournalist killed in Viet Nam in 1965, age 47. (this name was suggested earlier, but not by her birth name.) Superman - comic book character -not a man because he is not human!
I was also asked if this could be an animal, and the answer is no, it is not an animal. It is also not a comic book character :-)
Thank you all for sharing your ideas. I can tell you are exploring many different avenues!
Four items have now been added to the first prize treasure chest!

Hints for today:
I share my middle name with a US state. My name is in three parts, 7 letters in my first name, 8 in my middle, and 11 in my last. It's not easy to spot me in a crowded place.
Does anybody remember biology class? Let's see...Kingdom, Phylum, Class, Order, Family, Genus, Species...right?
Good luck!

I received a few questions morning and will share the answers here:
The answer to this poem has nothing to do with roads Colombia is the country, the reference in the poem is to Columbia And yes, Altaica is important. Everything mentioned in the poem is relevant :-)
Good luck everyone. Getting warmer every day!

In this instance, Columbia is not a country, literally or figuratively :-)

I'm hoping whoever wins this will give us their magic search combination that brings up the answer.
