Yes. That is correct. And to be even more clear, where you see the word "Beresheet" (upper right), the background behind that word is the backs of the playing cards. The backs of the playing cards are not part of the puzzle.
Playing cards that are face up, such as the 3 of Diamonds and Ace of Hearts are part of the puzzle.

Does anyone know what we are supposed to be looking for with this puzzle? A location? A master riddle? A keyword? I noticed under special instructions on the other puzzles it’s states what needs to be identified…

I did not say what it is you are looking for. But I did say the following:
"Tell me what your full solution is, and how you came upon each part of that solution. You will not win the prizes unless you can explain the methodology used for each part of the puzzle."
Once you correctly begin to solve different parts of the puzzle, things will come together.
Clues will be given in the future if I feel that little or no progress is being made. It is much too early in the hunt for any clues at this time. But even if I did provide a clue to let you know what you are looking for, or told you what you are looking for, it wouldn't help you solve the puzzle.
P.S. Genetic Blend and Art of Hidden Messages are the same person

**IF** I were to give a clue (I am not promising anything), what would you like it to be about? Is there a certain part of the puzzle you have a question about? Are you stuck on something in particular?
Or...Do you feel it is too early for a clue?
Post your thoughts and I will think about giving a clue...or not...A lot depends on your comments.
I hope you are having fun with all the hunts. Thanks for playing! Thanks for donating! We have all come together for great causes.

Can we DM you with the parts we are stuck on, so we can be specific without spoiling any part of the puzzle for others? I know that you would not reply back through DM which is appropriate. .

That is a difficult question...
I can certainly see your point. You don't want to make a public post and give away not only the progress you have made, but possibly some part of a solution. In that case PM would be better. It would be easier to get straight to the point that way too.
But when I come up with a clue, people may think I favored one person over another...or wonder why my clue was about a certain part of the puzzle that no one ever mentioned on the forums.
I think it would be best to keep things out in the open.
So let's keep the discussion about hints or clues here on the forum for a public discussion. No PMs. Sorry.

No problem. I don't want to put anybody in a bad position. It's been a fun and challenging puzzle so far!! We've uncovered many parts but have not been able to knit them all together. Some are clearly related, but others seem off by themselves. There are still things not solved yet which will probably help that problem. Some playing cards we have no utility for and another uncertain area I'll call "pockets" which we're still pondering over how to use. Hopefully that is helpful.

I think Genetic Blend/Art Of Hidden Messages already gave out a hint. "Playing cards that are face up, such as the 3 of Diamonds and Ace of Hearts are part of the puzzle." That would probably be enough to steer many in the right direction.

There was a hunt in the past where someone discussed with the author offline a rabbit hole they were going down. The author gave a nudge publicly so technically the person didn’t receive any info that wasn’t available to everyone. But just the fact that the author addressed their specific question to start with made it tailored to that person, if that makes sense.

THE PIE IN THE SKY PUZZLE
1.) You are NOT looking for a location as the final answer. Knowing this will not help you solve the puzzle.
2.) I know from submissions that a lot of people have solved parts of the puzzle but don't know what to do with them, and that is where they are getting stalled.
3.) This was designed with an "ah ha" moment...when you realize how the puzzle gets put together. People are not seeing that. I can not tell you what that is.
4.) I hope these will help with putting together the puzzle.

Any chance you could tell us how many "pieces" there are ymto this puzzle?

Hmmm...How many pieces are there in the puzzle? That really can't be answered accurately. There are puzzles within puzzles. Right now, I think most people have lots of pieces but don't know what to do with them. Let me put it this way, eventually, you will end up with seven "major" pieces to complete the puzzle.
Also, if you are doing everything correctly, there will be no guessing. You will know without a doubt that you have the answer. Each of those seven major pieces will come together, one piece at a time, using the same method, to give you a complete answer.
This is all part of the puzzle and the "ah ha" moment.
-------
I have been asked if when a solution is sent in, do I reply to incorrect answers. Yes. I have been answering all emails to let people know that the email has been received, and I will let you know if it is incorrect (or correct). If I were to get more than one correct answer, the winner would be determined by the time stamp on the email.
I work and don't have my phone at my side. So I can not reply right away. It might be several hours. Or if it is at night, I have my phone turned off. But I will get back to you.
-------
The answer is there!
Good luck!
